Mark brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to every home inspection. Mark grew up in a building family and helped his father build and remodel homes from an early age.
If you get my voice mail when you call, it probably means that I'm with a client or on the phone with a client (or asleep). Pleease leave a message. I check my voice mail on a regular basis. Also please understand, that when I'm on a home inspection with a customer, I don't answer my cell phone. I give my full attention to that customer and to the work at hand.

Mark Young has done two home inspections for me and saved me from making the biggest mistake of my life on one house. Both times, he has made himself available on short notice, done a thorough job, explaining his findings carefully. He has expertise in older and historic houses, which need the more careful eye. He is professional, personable and reasonable, delivers next-day if not same-day reports, and I would recommend him for any job.

We bought our townhouse in DC and needed an inspector. Mark came and did a very thorough inspection of the property, taking his time to look through everything and climbing on the roof too. Soon after the inspection (that night) he emailed us a detailed report with photos and issues to be aware of. If you're buying a property and need a reliable home inspector that is priced fairly, taking his time to do what's needed and will tell you as it is, and still a nice guy, we highly recommend Mark.
