At VisionSmith, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Corrective lens evaluations and prescription management are provided by our optometrist in Plymouth. After a comprehensive eye and vision evaluation, Dr. John Mueller will discuss the variety of contact lens options with you to select the type that best fits your vision needs and lifestyle.
During an eye exam, Dr. John Mueller will ask you questions about any symptoms or issues you are experiencing, medications your are currently taking, any blurry vision, your work environment, and your overall health. Family history and previous eye or vision conditions will also be discussed during this part of the examination.

I have been going to Vision Smith for almost a decade, as well as my family. Their location is always clean and convenient. The staff are knowledgable and accommodating and they always take time to speak with me and answer any questions I have. Dr. Mueller is exceptional. The care and professionalism he provides for his patients/clients, is second to none. I have had some different types of vision issues and he takes the time needed to explain to me exactly what is going on and I am so appreciative for this!

Terrible customer service. Gave me lenses that were not what I asked for after I already paid for them, said they would send them back to correct it, and then gave me back the same ones again and tried to pass them as fixed. When I asked them to fix it for real this time, was basically told “too bad”. Not ever going back.

Dr. Smith was great! Had an appointment early on a Friday, so there was no wait at all. His assistant did a pre-screening, then he did the normal eye exam stuff. He even gave me a couple free bottles of eye drops. Chit chatted a bit while my eyes were dilating, everything was pretty good, no complaints!
I looked this place up myself before coming and saw the one negative review from 2013, figured I'd roll the dice, and everything was fine. Maybe they had a different front desk person back then, or maybe there was just a mixup, dunno.

What a fantastic experience! Dr. Smith and his staff took the time to give my eyes a thorough checkup and review all of my options for new glasses. The personal touch offered by their clinic was a welcome change from the larger chains which I have visited in the past. It is refreshing to work with a team enthusiastic about treating their customers right.

What a great experience! Dr. Grant Smith was extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions thouroughly. Although the real stand out of my experience was Albert. He will be the reason that I refer anyone I know to Visionsmith; he was very upbeat and funny and just professional. He really gave the personal touch for something that really seems like an annoying part of my day, and actually made it full of laughs.

I have been going to Dr Smith for 5 years now and have always received kind and courteous service. Dr Smith also has fantastic staff that take good care of you and represent the business with fun and professionalism. I have had some emergencies in the past and they go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Thank you VisionSmith for everything that you do! You guys are great!

The employee from Kennedy Vision Health Center who posted the bad review a few years back should have had someone check their grammar before posting. What an embarrassment.
My family of 4 has been going to Dr. Smith for almost 4 years, and his exams have always been more thorough then the exams received at the larger shops we used previously (PNMC, NW Eye Clinic, etc.) . Dr. Smith and staff have always been unusually helpful when ordering contact lenses and glasses, and when working out insurance claims and payments. I cannot recommend them more.

In September of 2012 I had a full eye exam including prescriptions for both contacts and glasses at Vision Smith. After a mix up with a contact order I was treated with hostility by the practice manage. I chose to not return and sought a new eye care professional.
I contacted Vision Smith and requested them to transfer my records to my new Dr. at Kennedy Vision Health Center. They transferred my contact prescription but not my eye glass prescription. I contacted Vision Smith a second time to have my full records transferred.
