I saw the bad review and had to respond. Eddie Burke represented me way back in 1999 when he was with Burke and O'Brian. Eddie was thorough, diligent and professional through out. He was always available and promptly returned calls. The end result was very positive and he certainly did not overcharge. Edward Burke Jr in my opinion is the best attorney on the East End.

Beware of shady east end lawyer. Tries to use ties to community to bully good members of the community. We throw 1 party a year and him his clients try and slander our name throw us out the neighborhood. Its… the Hamptons get a grip and grow up. The letter attached clearly shows the caliber of individuals we are dealing with. Completely disappointed with this firm and the individuals that hired him.

My niece hired Mr. Burke to handle a DWI. Paid in advance. This was in 2006 and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest for a 2007 no show in court. She never knew the lawyer did. After paying in full she got totally screwed by this guy. If you choose to use him I would either not pay in advance or get your head examined. She has called the office many time but gets no where Shame on this firm for taking advantage of a young girl - and shame on my niece for drinking and driving (which she has never done since).
