We engaged Dianne LeVerrier for what was to be a straightforward, all cash home sale, the proceeds of which we intended to use for a purchase in California. Due to either the incompetence or duplicity of our buyer's attorney, the transaction turned out to be anything but straightforward, and threatened both the purchase and the deposit for our new home.
