Need-a-Lift was first founded in 2004 with the mission to help those who require special assistance develop independence through transportation. We strive to empower individuals by providing them with the freedom to go shopping, spend a day out, or visit their primary health care providers on their own!
At Need-a-Lift we provide transportation services with you in mind! Your health and safety comes first, which is why we require specific forms to be completed before we can offer our professional lift services. My mother and used this company the other day for a appointment. I'm not sure about the other drivers or other dispatchers, but I can tell you that Mrs. Leah was a GEM!! She was so nice, personable (and I usually don't like to talk much), and got us there safe. I'm really glad we had her for the trip there and back. I think I'll call in Monday just to let them know as well. So Mrs. Leah, thank you for your kindness. You are MUCH appreciated!! :D

I had the best experience with this company last month and am just getting around to posting my review: they were very professional, friendly and set excellent expectations. There were no hidden fees or unmet expectations, arriving shortly before they said they would. Leah, our driver, did an excellent job! Honestly, I have a hard time believing the 1 star ratings I saw on this, especially after the extremely poor performance of a cab service (see my Yelp review).

Terrible customer service, We have a patient that gets her rides to and from her appointments from this company and our patient will wait up to an hour at times to get her ride, I called and made a complaint and basically they told me since she was on medicaid that she would have to wait because they make no money on her.... the last time she was here we told her driver it would be less than 5 minutes and his dispatch would not let him wait... unbelievable....
