I had a wonderful experience at Colonial Eyecare. The optometrist, Dr. Segeleon, is very smart and experienced, and Shelby, his technician, was also excellent. As always, Dr. Segeleon makes the extra effort to insure that I have the best fitting contacts. He took the time to follow up and even tweak my prescription when I wasn't completely satisfied.

Dr. Brent Segeleon is a graduate of Gannon University and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2005. Not only proficient in comprehensive optometry, including the diagnosis and management of several ocular diseases, Dr. Segeleon is also highly proficient in low vision and graduated with honors.
Your vision is our primary concern. A comprehensive eye exam takes into consideration your total health and how it impacts the health of your eyes. You will not be asked to fill out annoying paperwork about your life history when you arrive at our office. One of our professional technicians will ask you questions regarding your ocular, medical and family history.
Ask about our "Friendly Return Policy". We want you to be completely wowed by your glasses and after wearing the product, if you are unhappy with the frames you selected simply return them to our office within 1 month and pick out a new pair of your choice and we will gladly remake new lenses at no additional cost.
At Colonial Eye Care we accept the majority of Vision insurances and we are in-network with almost all the statewide Medical insurances. We will happily file all vision or medical insurance claims on your behalf from the office. You may have some out of pocket fees or copays after your exam. These fees are determined by your insurance company and must be collected at the time of service.

Dr Segelon exemplifies what an optometrist should be … he has spared no expense to have the most state of the art technology in the industry to ensure that his patient’s eye health is properly addressed. He also takes care to explain each test and it’s results implications to the patient. I’ve been his patient for around 10 years and would recommend him and his staff to any and all.

In this world of turmoil and unrest during Covid-19, we need more angels like the ones at Colonial Eye Care. You can feel the love as you walk through the front door. My experience was one of true care, where the staff not only went over and beyond, but treated me as an individual with my own concerns. They were all wonderful. Dropped in with a driver's license issue that had to be dealt with quickly, I did not have an eye doctor in this area. They slipped me in and gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. State of art equipment, very kind and knowledgeable staff, I was very impressed. I would highly recommend and will be returning in the near future

Tech was very nice, first time needing glasses.
But when I went to try some on after my exam, I wasn't expecting to pay almost $300 after insurance. Come to find out they only showed me the expensive ones and when I try multiple times to call to get my Rx to get glasses somewhere else, no one answers the front desk phone.

Excellent quality care from the moment you enter the office front door. Front desk attendants are super friendly and helpful. The assistant to Dr. Guth took me swiftly but carefully through a series of eye scans before I saw the doctor in person. As always, Dr. Guth is bright, professional, and eager to answer questions all throughout the exam. This office feels efficient, like everyone has a bounce in their step. I always have a wonderful experience. Everyone there treats you like family. The staff is very professional and courteous and the environment is always clean.
There is a play area separated from the main lobby if you have small children who are impatient. They can read or play without becoming too loud.

I really would have given them a high rating based off of my eye exam and the physician but now I've waited more than 3 1/2 weeks for them to correct my lenses. I choose this practice keeping in mind it was not a Walmart or mall MD and lens location. Now I'm wondering, after paying close to $400 if this was the right choice. I have to keep calling to find out what is going on with my new lenses. They on the other hand keep blaming it on "shipment" problems. This baffles me when this is the generation of shipping overnight and next day. Makes you wonder. Think twice about this

The reason I gave it only two stars was because of the quality of the glasses I purchased here. I bought, what was for me a fairly expensive pair of glasses. Unfortunately, they seem to be poorly made and the eye and ear pieces rattle around every time I turn my head. By the end of the day I have a headache from wearing these. I went back a number of times to get this fixed and it seems nothing more can be done. SO I am stuck with an expensive pair of back-up glasses and had to go back to wearing my

Dr Segeleon and staff are so wonderful. I truly feel among friends when I come for an eye exam. The level of care and professionalism is the best I have seen in an eye care practice. It is very clean and pleasing to the eye and the staff is super friendly and accommodating when checking out and making appointments.

So happy to have a found a good optometrist in Wburg. Dr. Segeleon and his staff are so friendly and professional. Didn't have time to get fitted for glasses after my exam, but I have every confidence their optician will do a great job as well (I met her briefly... Stephanie was super-helpful). When was the last time you could say you ever looked forward to going to the doctor??! If only all medical professionals would be this way...

Dr. Segelon and his staff are super caring and flexible. Last week I called just before closing and they fit in my Dutch friend who was afraid her contact was torn. When we came in with 5 kids who were ready to go to Busch Gardens, I know the staff was cringing inside but were incredibly hospitable and friendly, as they are whenever I come for appts.

Had my first eye exam with Colonial Eye Care today. Very friendly greeting and made me feel comfortable right off the bat. Then the entire exam was done by Dr. Selegeon himself. He answered all of my questions and was not in a rush at all. A wonderful experience from start to finish from a Doctor truly concerned about my eye health..
