Services
A 2005 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Creighton Dental School, Dr. Goren completed a general practice residency at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Following the residency, he completed a two-year postgraduate program in endodontics at the University of Southern California. Dr. Goren is a member of California Dental Association, American Assoc. of Endodontics (AAE), and a member of American Dental Assoc.
Our office uses modern, state-of-the-art technology to enhance patient comfort and to help you get the smile you deserve! We are proud to announce that we now have the technology available in office to take 3D images (cone beam) for our patients. These images are extremely valuable when diagnosing certain conditions and evaluating oral conditions for the placement of implants.
We are concerned foremost with your health. However, some of the procedures we perform are intended not only to control disease, but to provide you with a cosmetic benefit. Some patients may look older than their years because their teeth appear to be too long ("long in the tooth"). Soft tissue grafts and other root coverage procedures are designed to cover exposed roots and make the teeth look much better.
With the exception of your natural teeth, nothing looks more natural than an implant. One important benefit of implants is that they slow the shrinking of bone and gum tissue from the area of the missing tooth, thus preventing premature aging. Of Americans between the ages of 18 and 64, approximately 49% are missing at least one tooth.
A smile can be the most eye-catching feature of your face. Even a subtle change can make a big difference in the way you look and feel. New techniques like whitening, bonding, enamel shaping, veneers, and white fillings allow us to create a beautiful smile with, at times, only minimal changes to existing teeth.

He is an exceptional dentist with a great staff, most of whom have been there for as long as I can remember. That alone should tell you something. One more important note, Julie is the best hygienist ever!

I took my daughter for evaluation on removing her braces. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. John Bunker and his assistant Mercedes. They were very informative and helpful gave me a treatment plan I felt most comfortable with to complete her treatment , put my mind at ease. Dr. John Bunker has been my Dentist for many years. However, In the past 15 months, Dr. John Bunker cared for my teeth with Invisalign. One side of my teeth had a bad underbite. Plus, I needed my teeth to be straighten. I never had braces prior to Invisalign. With Invisalign, my teeth crossed over eliminating the underbite. Plus my teeth are now straight and I have a wider smile. My teeth look amazing and I couldn't be happier.

I detest going to the dentist, let's get that out of the way up front. Although I still get anxious coming here, they are very welcoming, and nice. Dr. Savani is really good. She takes the time to explain everything to me and makes sure that I am ok the whole time. She always takes the less invasive course of action, and seems genuinely interested in my well being. The front office staff took a little time to warm up to, but maybe they were just busy. Dental assistant staff is great and friendly. Overall, very happy with this dental practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bunkers for almost 30 years and I have always loved him and his staff. After having a not so great experience with my last cleaning appointment (with the hygienist) I decided to request a cleaning with Alex, who came highly recommended by my parents, who are also patients of Dr. Bunkers. My experience was one of the best I have had in a while. She was very patient and understanding and made me feel very comfortable. If you are like me and hate going to the dentist, I highly recommend her and will definitely be seeing her from now on.

I've been a patient at San Dimas Dental Group for several years. The office is clean, in a nice location and the staff is friendly and professional. Julie has been my hygienist for years and always does a great job cleaning my teeth. I love the way my teeth look whiter and the coffee stains gone! I also did Invisalign a few years ago and am pleased with the results. Dr Savani is always friendly and was patient with me during the entire Invisalign process.

I've been a patient at San Dimas Dental Group for over 7 years. My wife has been going here for twice as long. We love this office so much that we don't mind driving about an hour each way for our appointments. All of the staff could not be more professional and friendly. Peggy, the dental hygienist I see for most of my appointments is a wonderful person and always gives me the best care. You always feel like you're in the best hands at San Dimas Dental Group.

I have been going to the San Dimas Dental Group since I was a young child. I wouldn't consider visiting any other dental practice. Everyone in the office is so friendly, and it's evident that they truly care about each and every one of their patents. Dr. Savani is absolutely amazing. She makes her patients feel totally comfortable. Dr. Savani always takes the time to throughly inform her patients, and discuss all possible treatment plans in regards to dental health and wellness. Had a very odd experience with the front office staff. I called to ask how much they charge for a cleaning. Simple question, right? The lady on the phone told me she could not tell me! Said I would have to come in and see the dentist, and he would tell me how much the cleaning would be. Needless to say, I didn't go.

Dr. John P. Bunkers has been my dentist since the late 1980's when I lived in Diamond Bar and I now live in Long Beach since 1997. Dr. Bunkers is an excellent dentist, up to date on the latest procedures and equipment, professional, gentle, painless and has a good sense of humor.
During the years I have been in need of more than one root canal and they were performed by Dr. Goren who is in the same office and equally professional, gentle and painless.

San Dimas Dental Group is the BEST Dental group hands down!! I have been going to Dr. Bunkers since I was 5 years old. Dr. Bunker has been our family dentist provider when he began his practice the first month over thirty years ago. I have been going to this dentist (Dr. Bunkers) for over 30 years. The staff here is excellent, and you are treated with a smile and you feel like they care. Must be a great place to work since the staff seems to stay. I have been with the same hygienist (Peggy) forever, she is perfect. Always upbeat, and efficient, and makes it an easy visit. No one likes going to the dentist, but, this office makes it so easy, it's no big deal! Friendly, knowledgeable, fair pricing, what else do you need?

I cannot add to the 4 and 5 star comments already given, because they are all accurate! I know this because my wife and I have been patients for 20 plus years. Dr. Bunkers besides being an outstanding dentist with impressive credentials, is a friendly and caring human being. The entire office is top-notch including the Office Manager Diane, to the front desk folks, hygienists and all the assistants. Simply said, they are the best - second to none!!

The world would be a much, much better place if everyone was as committed to excellence- in every way, as Dr. John Bunkers and his entire LONG TIME staff; especially Diane and Cindy...all the people there are top, top notch!
