Shawn Hoover was born and raised in Oil City, a rural town just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From an early age, he spent much of his time running around at the local family business. In this day and age, it is hard to find an excellent company like Vertex Mechanical. They put me on their schedule immediately, and texted me when the technician was on his way. Chris, the technician, was dot on time, super professional and extremely courteous. The 16 year-old AC in our lake house had stopped working. While reminding me about the age of the unit, he told me that the capacitors (both inside and outside) had gone bad. Most other companies would probably try to sell me a new AC; but Chris simply replaced the caps, installed the pipe for pouring chlorine (the original installation

We recently had Vertex replace a 14 year old Mitsubishi mini split unit. Chris accurately diagnosed the condition of the old unit and installed a new one a few days later. He was exceptionally professional in his work and explained any questions I had. Jeremy coordinated the job from the office and kept me up to date at all times. I am very pleased that I chose this company and would recommend them highly.

My air conditioner stopped cooling on a Thursday evening in August. I called Vertex Mechanical and was able to easily schedule an appointment for the following day. On Friday morning the technician, Chris, called to confirm that he was on way. He arrived well before the scheduled time, which worked even better with my schedule. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem — my air conditioner is running great now! On Friday evening, I noticed a slight water stain on my ceiling and found the source in the attic near the air conditioner. Assuming it was the result of an overflow, I added towels

Impressed with the service we received from Vertex for our family dental practice, Oak Hill Dental! We had 2 other HVAC companies come out (several times) and they could not figure out the issue.
