Services
Located on almost 10 acres in Southern Frederick County, Crestwood has been growing positive, successful, happy children for 46 years. We have an all inclusive campus, designed throughout the years to grow with your child. We have play-areas throughout the property, ranging from a huge play castle in our sand box to our wonderful wooded play area with trails, funnel ball, stage & climbing dome.
Our before and after school program is an outdoor, recreational, nature-based environment. We feel that fresh air keeps us healthy. Outside activities strengthen us mentally and physically. This also allows the child to grow in team play, through group games. After children spend a long day in a structured school environment they need to be able to relax and unwind.

At a moment when we were desperate to find a child care service that was not driven by a corporate model such as where he came from, The Goddard School, Crestwood appeared on our radar as if by miracle. Our son was not receiving adequate learning experiences while at Goddard and was stuffed into a small room with nearly fifteen other children, which contributed to an environment not conducive for learning. Out of desperation for something better we stumbled upon Crestwood Oaks and when I say it was meant to be, I truly mean that. The property is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by nature on all

My 2 boys went to Crestwood childcare and to summer camps once they started school. They also used to take swimming lessons and are still taking tennis lessons. We love the teachers at Crestwood and the whole property is amazing. Lots of outdoors space and activities which is so important these days when kids like to spend lot of time playing video games instead of playing outside. Highly recommend Crestwood Oakes!!!

My girls have been attending Crestwood Oakes for over three years. We have referred many of our friends here as well. The teachers are wonderful, caring women that my daughters absolutely adore. Crestwood provides lot of outdoor recreation time, allowing kids to develop and improve social and motor skills. Both of my girls have learned to swim from their summer camp. Manners and pro-social behaviors are strictly enforced. The communication from teachers is top notch. I always feel well informed about what is going on at school.

I went to Crestwood Oakes from ages 2 to 14, and it was a wonderful experience, and a great opportunity that most don't get to have. The staff are an amazing group of people that helped raise me, teach me the difference between right and wrong, and always made me feel welcome. When I was young, they offered basic pre-school learning, such as the ABCs and the pledge of allegiance. With parental permission, they would take us on field trips. We would do arts and crafts, pay board games and read books, but would still have nap time for those under 5. We also got to take swim lessons from a young age

One square of toilet paper. That's all you get and at the time they tell you to go to the bathroom. Also, boys and girls lined up, pants down next to each other to wait to go to the bathroom with one square in hand.
If you were "bad," expect to stand and face the corner, hands on head for up to an hour.
If you were "bad" outside, expect to run around the pond until they tell you to stop. One example of being "bad" - not being able to mount a horse properly.
These are just some memories I have from near 30 years ago. Don't let your kids have twisted memories from their childhood. Pick a better
