Apply Cosmetics after you insert your lenses. Don't wear contacts or apply cosmetics if you have red or swollen eyes or have an eye infection. Your eyeglasses will be an integral part of your every day routine and in order for them to function at their best and for you to be able to enjoy them for as long as possible, it is important to care for them properly.
Astigmatism is a vision condition that occurs when the front surface of your eye, the cornea, is slightly irregular in shape. This irregular shape prevents light from focusing properly on the back of your eye, the retina. As a result, your vision may be blurred at all distances.

People with severe astigmatism will usually have blurred or distorted vision, while those with mild astigmatism may experience headaches, eye strain, fatigue or blurred vision at certain distances. Most people have some degree of astigmatism. A comprehensive optometric examination will include testing to diagnose astigmatism and determine the degree.
Optometrists have two roles with insurance. Many medical insurance companies cover eye exams (or eye emergencies ) through the patients medical insurance. Other patients may have "vision" insurance that covers a routine eye exam and products. Insurance can be very confusing. Please call our office and we will help determine your options.

So glad I selected this Optometrist! Making the appointment was easy. The offices, waiting areas, and restroom are all clean. The equipment is top of the line. I had several tests done in various rooms before I was taken to the exam room. This was WAY more thorough than my previous eye doctors. Glaucoma runs in my family and I was concerned. Dr Snow explained EVERYTHING he did, and the results of each element of the visit. He gave me a brief eye biology lesson so that I would understand his explanations, complete with pictures. The glasses selection is quite extensive. I had a hard time deciding
