Located two blocks north of the town square in the beautiful all american city of Mount Vernon, Ohio, The Living Center has been serving the Mount Vernon area seniors since 1986. Established by Levering Management, Inc., The Living Center has a history of providing an active, independent and secure environment where residents can enjoy living the good life.
If a resident is moving to The Living Center from outside the Mount Vernon area and would like to transfer to a local physician, a physician referral service is available through Knox Community Hospital. You can obtain a list of physicians that are accepting new patients by calling 740-393-5669.
The Living Center welcomes all physicians that are willing to make "community house calls" and assist in any way to make doctor visits valuable and efficient.If you need transportation to and from your physician visit, arrangements can be made through Knox Area Transit, 740-392-7433.

The Living Center senior citizen apartments are owned and operated by Levering Management, Inc. Levering Management, a local leader in senior care and senior living facilities in Knox County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years, has received recognition of its services from the local, state and national level.

Asked when leaving KCH where i wanted to go for re-hab after hip surgery, i asked KCH if there was a place owned by the Levering family. My doctor asked why and I told him that the Levering family owned Morrow Manor in Chesterville. My Mother lived ther just a little over a year before she passed away and she LOVED being there. Everyone was so nice, friendly, caring, helpful and treated the residents like their own family. I saw it as did everyone who visited her. That was enough for me. Everyone here at Country Court is just the same loving and caring people at Morrow Manor. As far back as a childhood
