Here at the Animal Hospital, our talented Dr. Ramos can perform a wide variety of surgeries, from elective to emergency. We also have a very gifted orthopedic surgeon who travels the western slope that can be brought in for Bone related repairs, including Cruciate or knee tendon repair, broken and dislocated bones.

X-rays are a valuable diagnostic tool for detecting problems that simply can't be found with a physical examination. That's why we have radiological services available on site. And we have access to radiology consultants for unusual cases and second opinions. X-rays are also an important component of our dental services.

Laboratory testing is often necessary for complete evaluation of your pet's health. Our on-site lab provides same-day service on most routine laboratory tests and we send out more comprehensive panels to a larger lab. If you are vacationing in the Gunnison Valley, we can also coordinate with your regular veterinarian to perform routine laboratory tests while you are here away from home.
