When it comes to computer repair in the Sacramento area, we can fix just about anything. We happily work on both Windows PCs and Apple Macs, and are just as comfortable on a laptop as we are on a desktop. Our team of technicians can handle everything from replacing the screen on your laptop to fixing the charging issues you might be having.
The Macbook Pro is the high end model of Apple's Macbook Laptop line. It was originally introduced in 2006 and is now on it's third generation of product releases. These days very few people are still using the first generation, though a lot of our customers are still using the 2nd generation which we call the 'unibody'.
Successful data recovery is billed at a flat rate. Unsuccessful data recovery is possible depending on the failure of the device and will be billed $99. In extreme cases, an advanced data recovery charge of $249 is possible, but will only be performed with your approval. We charge $149 labor to install a new LCD screen into your laptop, + the cost of parts for the new screen.
Do you have a physical location or traditional brick and mortar computer repair shop that I can visit or bring my computer to? We do not. We are very unique in this regard. Yoga Bear is a 100% mobile and onsite computer repair company, with no brick and mortar store. This keeps our costs low, and our level of service high.

I originally called Kehn to talk to him about setting up a 10 Gb net work at my home, I had all the hardware that I needed but wanted someone to come to the house and go through all of it to make sure it was hooked up all correctly. Cameron came over and spent a little over an hour with me and made sure that all of my settings were correct and anything and everything I needed to do and I can't tell you how much I appreciated his expertise on getting me all dialed in. We had an old Mac and external drives and wanted to save all the data. Also needed tech support to streamline all existing computer/iPad home use.
Yoga Bear was great! They handled all of our questions very well and got us up to date on all electronics.

This was a great company when I needed to fix my simple yoga notebook. I called them and emailed them on the same night, and I got a response within less than 2 hours. I spoke to their technician, and we diagnosed the problem over the phone. After they came and picked up the laptop, they emailed me back with a diagnosis and a cost. Both were very reasonable. It took 3-4 business days for the whole thing to be fixed. They had to order my parts, and the wait was due to shipping of my replacement HD. I Recommend Them For Repair, and I Will Be Using Them Again in the near future.

My hard drive had crashed and, as a computer consultant, I envisioned purchasing a new computer. It was out of warranty and my wife suggested repair and she found Yoga Bear Repair. They were fast, communicated well and with the upgrade to a 2 TB SSD Drive my computer is 1000 X better. A significant upgrade. It now is even more a pleasure to use and compute with. I recently checked my Dell XPS 15 in for an issue regarding video card failure that caused the system to frequently crash and reboot. Out of all of the repair places I called Yogi was the most knowledgeable and responsive regarding diagnosis.
Due to covid, the offered to pick up my computer at no extra charge and would diagnose repair. Within the first week I received my first update that a reboot/reinstallation of windows did not due the trick--as expected. I don't write many reviews but had to take time for this one. I've had my computer serviced by Yoga Bear 3 times now and I would never go anywhere else. Aside from their ability to diagnose and correct the problems quickly, the most important feature is that of trust. After I upgraded the BIOS and memory in my Notebook PC, I started getting the error: "System Fan (90b) - The system has detected that a cooling fan is not operating correctly. The system will shutdown in 15 seconds... ". After reading through the owner’s manual, I determined that replacing the fan was way too involved for me to attempt. So, I searched the internet and came across Yoga Bear Computer Repair. Lucky for me!

I moved across country and my desktop computer did not like the trip. Connections came loose in the computer rendering my monitor useless. BestBuy said the did not do hardware but one person there gave me the name of Yogi Bear Computer. I called then and Ken came over the next day and picked up my compute to troubleshoot it and give me estimate on repair. He communicated clearly about what the problem was and what it would cost to repair. For minimal additional cost I had my hard drive upgraded. Although at the end, I wasn't able to get serviced by Yoga, I had a really positive interaction with Michael.

I think with 360 reviews and 5 stars, that speaks for itself, but I'll add mine to the stack. Service was incredible. Quick and easy communication. Having a problem with your laptop is already a huge headache so it is nice to have experts like Yoga Bear who are nice and considerate. The tech who repaired my laptop came to personally pick it up on a Friday evening.. that's dedication.
He diagnosed it by Sunday, gave me a quick call then touched base again on Monday. He found out it was because of my graphic card, gave me my options of replacing the card vs getting a new laptop with cost
