GeekMan Computer Repair was founded by Dan H. as a side job for extra cash while he was attending college majoring in Computer Science. Walked me through a quick band-aid on the phone and advised against doing the repairs because it’ll cost more than the laptop is worth. They could’ve charged me the $200, but instead were honest and took the time to help for free. I don’t need their services this time, but I’ll absolutely use them the next time I do just because of the customer service.

I have used Dan's 'GEEK-MAN' computer repair services several times over the past three years or so, whenever my home desk-top system (a WIN-10 Dell PC) developed problems that exceeded my modest computer trouble-shooting abilities.
The most recent difficulty involved my system unit's sudden failure to allow me to use the machine's file manager search option. Dan replaced the battery (requires almost complete disassembly itself, darn it) on my ASUS ROG 752VT gaming laptop and replaced the cracked case bottom (requiring disassembly and removal of main board, screen...) He did this is a couple hours and the machine was perfect when I got it back. Dan was professional, capable and reasonable affordable. I am a retired database administrator (not a luddite or nonprofessional myself), but don't like working on small boxes like laptops: I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience Dan and recommend him highly.

I could have not been more pleased then to find this guy. And I'm a very hard person to please and let alone give 5 stars. I was in a pinch for not being able to resolve my computer issues on my own and then even used a place that used to be reliable and loyal and honest but they turned out to be nothing but rude and tried to rip me off and then to boot was being completely dishonest to the point I had to send a friend to pick up my computer because it would not been pretty scene if I went to the business. But Dan was upfront on cost and a time frame and delivered and pick up was right on

I was having some rather frustrating difficulties getting my home network (ethenet) to recognise a new wifi Canon LBP7100Cw laser printer I bought and had exhausted my moderate IT user abilities trying to resolve the problem. The best thing about Dan is that he has his customers' best interest in mind. He is not mindlessly doing repairs for people. I had a broken laptop that he was working on, but instead of being greedy and doing the costly repair for me, he informed me that it'd be cheaper to just recover the data and buy a new laptop. GeekMan is my go to guy for all my technology issues. I called Dan for help with my slow laptop and also when I upgraded to another computer. He even hooked up my new TV for me. My daughter is in college and her laptop caught a nasty virus that completely blocked her from using or even opening her computer. My husband and I tried everything we knew to get past it but had no success. I found Dan through Geekatoo after an unsuccessful assignment to another technician. The difference was so evident from his first phone call to me, his professionalism far above and beyond! I would recommend this service highly. Dan was great. He arrived on time and worked quickly. He allowed me to watch and informed me clearly what was wrong and what he was doing to correct the problem. This helped me feel educated as well as relieved that the computer was fixed.

Dan Hall is the finest computer-savvy tech I have ever had; and being computer illiterate, I have had quite a few. From our first contact he has been very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable. He is more than willing to patiently explain what is wrong in terms that you can understand, to share so you don't feel computer-dumb, and give you whatever options there are for your particular computer problems. Oh, and he answers his own phone... no machine. Gotta love that!

My neighbor built me a computer but somehow the software caused the computer to freeze after each reboot. We tried everything for at least 6 hours!

He even networked my laptop to my desktop in couple of keyboard strokes. Added an anti virus program and made my life flow much better now that I have someone reliable with awesome rates to fix all of my hardware/software issues.

I contacted Dan asking for a quote for computer repair. I had diagnosed the issue but thought it required more than my skill level. Dan sent me some quick and easy tips for fixing the issue myself via email, and suggested I try that first instead of spending money unnecessarily. His advice did the trick and he saved me the cost of a house call. He could've easily charged me for the fix and I never would've known. It is nice to know there are still honest people in the world. I've added his phone number to my speed dial to help me with any future computer issues I may have.
