I just left Omega Optical; needed a quick eyeglass adjustment. They handled it with no issues. I have been coming here for over 15 years, and highly recommend them. I have been with this company since they were located in the Cheltenham Mall early 2000's. My wife and I love this place it's owners and employees are very professional and assist with picking frames that look good on you no matter the cost. No pressure or promotional behavior of certain "expensive" frames or lenses inflating your bill. That's EXCELLENCE!!! As a business owner I'm always on the lookout for this and this company and its representatives are the absolute best.

Slow turnaround times. Unprofessional associates who forget about your order. Different eye Doctors on site who dont seem to be able to match a prescription to my eyes.
Now since Covid they have been closed with no way to reach them via phone or email & I do not have a copy of my own prescription.
If you have an alternative eye doctor to go, I would highly recommend doing so.

Refused to tighten a screw on my frames to stop a lens falling out due to liability issues. Apparently only the technician who is only there on Mondays can touch glasses. Don't even have the disposable kits with a screwdriver so I could tighten it myself.
Perhaps more of a PA trial lawyer problem but the end result is the store can't provide simple assistance that would have made alll the difference to my day.

Great staff, very nice people. Easy to work with, they can also do lenses if you bring your own frames as well. I was looking for a specific pair of glasses which they didn't have in stock, but they were able to help me find them and provide a quick turnaround for the glasses and prescription sunglasses.

I was referred to this establishment by a co-worker. My initial encounter was good. My eye exam was thorough and the staff was pleasant.
However, I recently had two instances that were not respectable of my time.
A new staff member called on a Thursday to tell me my glasses were ready and that they could be picked up that day or the following day Friday between 10am-5pm. To my surprise, the establishment was not open at 10:45am which was after the said time of 10am. I waited a half an hour and had to leave.
I was contacted after leaving a voicemail, and as a courtesy, my glasses were forwarded

Tracy is sooo sweet. I moved from NYC to work at Comcast in Philadelphia and found this shop underneath the building. I had an appointment with my doctor in NY the week before and got prescribed uncomfortable contact lens. Tracy was able to order several free trials for me without charging me a penny. I became a customer of Omega Optical when I was in high school wearing glasses. I upgraded to contacts about a year later. I wore contacts for a few years before getting Lasik surgery in 2005. My vision started getting blurry early this year (2017) so I figured it was time to get an eye exam. My eyes are still pretty good but I'm getting some glasses to clear up the fine print that I read.

I had a great experience here even though I used a Groupon. A lot of places aren't too nice to Grouponers, but this place was great. Dr. Wu is just what you want in an eye doctor, competent, efficient, and thorough, but also friendly and personable. The salespeople out front were very helpful and they have a nice range of frames at various price points.
I decided not to get my glasses there, but they gave me my prescription without an issue (stores are required to by law, but tons of places will try to hold your prescription hostage to force you to buy contacts/glasses through them). One

Have only had 3 other eye exams in the 10 years I've needed glasses (dislike doctors). Dr Wu is more patient and thorough than all the others combined. I made an appointment, told them I had a Groupon and was treated better than I can put in words. I have and will continue to tell everyone I know/meet about Omega Optical and especially Dr. Wu!

I actually really like this place. They're a smaller boutique shop that really tries to help you the most they can. Even though I bought my glasses online (because I wanted a larger selection and am a very particular person), they helped me all along the way. They gave me my prescription, took me through the ordering process, and,when the new glasses came in, they fit them to my face and gave me advice on how to go forward with my new prescription (free of charge).

My experience at Omega was well beyond any expectations from start to finish. The optometrist was thorough and informative throughout the exam. The optician (Tracy) was remarkable! For the 1st time ever, I was given a complete description of my insurance benefits along with co-pays for progressive lenses, tinting, etc. I knew exactly what I was paying for as we went through the process and my glasses were ready within the timeframe promised. I am extremely satisfied with my glasses and the service I received at Omega hence the 5 star rating. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Shame on me. I should have checked Yelp first. I had a groupon for prescription sunglasses. Their hours are limited to weekdays only and even then, 10 to 5. But they don't open at 10 anyway. The order took about 3 weeks to get the glasses and then they were wrong. I took them to my eye doctor and he said the focal point was wrong. Back I went to the store and got a bit of resistance as to if there was anything wrong. After being a bit pushy, I got the eye doctor to look at them and she agreed. I was concerned after reading reviews on Yelp. I was pleasantly pleased. I was greeted by the ladies and my Groupon vouchers was verified. I was not treated differently because I had coupon. Lori came over and helped me look at glasses and gave me her honest opinion. She did not say everything looked good. She took her time with me until we both found glasses that suited me. It took several months for them to call me to let me know my glasses were ready. Plus, my lenses have a weird glare to them that makes me see light reflected twice. I have tried to get this fixed, but the place has not been open during the hours that they are supposed to be. I went on a Wednesday, and there was a sign that said they would be open at 1:30, and no one showed up to open the store all afternoon. The glasses cost a lot of money for the lenses and frames - you would think they would come back quickly and made correctly so I wouldn't have to try coming back to get them fixed
