We are a Yoga Studio in Reno, NV. All of us here, teachers and students, were drawn to the practice of yoga for physical reasons, as most people do. Our muscles became stronger and more flexible. Our breath deepened and our minds calmed. We uncovered the extraordinary healing power of the ordinary moment.
The mat became the place where we learned to love ourselves again. The mission of Rishi Yoga is to spread the simple message that the power, beauty and love you are seeking for are already within you. The practice of yoga is the process of uncovering the diamond that has been forgotten and buried within your own heart.

Kira is a 500 hr RYT working towards completing her Yoga Therapist Certification with Gary Kraftsow and the American Viniyoga Institute.
Yoga came into my life in high school. I've pursued a practice ever since. Two yoga certifications, almost 20 years of practice and many travels have taught me the importance of sharing yoga with others and my community. Hatha and vinyasa, power and knowing when to back off, comfort and challenge come into my practice and the classes I share as an instructor.
Kira started her yoga practice in Seattle in 2005 where she worked as a trauma critical care nurse. She found her practice to be healing and wholly encompassing, creating a strong connection between her and the rhythms of the natural world. In 2013 after a decade in nursing, Kira decided to focus her energy on deepening her yoga knowledge and teaching what she learned.
