2010 Carrier X13 1/2 hp blower motor would stay running even after removing 24vac speed inputs. Circuit breaker was only way to turn off. Matched part numbers and ordered new motor. Fast free shipping. Planned on just replacing the ecm module as my motor still metered ok. New motor arrived and warranty would be void if I removed ecm module. So, replaced the whole motor. Wow! My old motor shaft was seized in the squirrel cage. Really had to work to remove it. New motor in and works as it should. Old motor had 5 speed taps with my blue/white wires on 2 and 4. New motor only 1 thru 3 taps active.

I had been out of air conditioning for over two months waiting for new parts from York. Frustrated over this I began searching the internet and came across their website. I went on their site and quickly ordered a full replacement motor and ECM module. The site was very easy to use and provided very good direction to ensure you ordered the correct motor. I had the motor sent overnight and paid for that, but UPS did not deliver until 3 days later (Labor Day weekend). I installed the motor but the motor would not spin. It just rocked back and forth.
