Lymphedema is a disease of the lymphatic system. This network of vessels and lymph nodes shuttles fluid and white blood cells throughout the body, similar to the veins and arteries. When the network is disrupted, usually as the result of cancer surgery, lymphatic fluid may be trapped in one area of the body and start to build up.
Dr. Patel is an expert in DIEP flap breast reconstruction and other surgical options that use tissue from your own body. Using your own tissue is an increasingly popular way to form a natural-appearing and feeling breast. DIEP stands for deep inferior epigastric perforator, which is a blood vessel found in the lower abdomen.
Dr. Patel can often use microsurgical techniques to salvage or restore threatened limbs, whether the damage is caused by trauma, diabetes, or other diseases. The restoration of proper blood flow may help patients avoid amputation. Even in patients with vascular disease, Dr. Patel is able to reconstruct soft tissue through skin transplantation.

Please stay away, Arrogant, rushed, long wait times, very difficult to schedule appointments or get responses back, waiting one month and not even get a phone call back after multiple requests is a long time, as a patient you need someone who is responsive to your needs, questions, follow up care.

Horrible Experience, first of the doctor was running one hour late, after one hour waiting in the consulting room, a disheveled, uncombed, unshaven man appears in worn out scrubs and tattered shoes, ID almost blurred not showing his names or credentials, and starts examining a female patient without the presence of female nurse, very arrogant, in a rush, did not explain well about the nature of condition, proper treatment options etc. Please avoid if you can.

Dr. Patel performed a bilateral greater occipital neuralysis and a lessor occipital excision. Dr
Patel is very nice and very specialized in his knowledge. I have had occipital neuralgia since 2013 from a whiplash accident at work. I am still recovering from surgery and am feeling much better. I really appreciate his team and would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of procedure. Thanks Doc!!
