Aesthetic surgery is unique in the way our emotional desires for our body image are intertwined with our rational need for technical expertise. Dr. Keagle's connection to Southern California actually began in Chicago, where she earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Northwestern University - and met her husband, a Los Angeles native.
I went to her because I didn't want to look like I had a lot done, just wanted to look less tired/more awake/a better me. She totally got that. I was so impressed by it, that I've gone back several times, and I never look 'plastic.' She's really good with filler too - I finally tried that - and it looked amazing.
Dr. Keagle believes that when you're invited to ask questions, you'll feel more relaxed and satisfied with your results. Her downtown Los Angeles office is conveniently located in the North Tower of the Medical Office Building at Good Samaritan Hospital, where surgeries are also performed in the Outpatient Surgical Center.
During her years of training, she discovered that many surgeons do not have a diverse opinion of beauty outside what we find in magazine ads, which are always digitally nipped and tucked. I told her I wanted it to look natural and sure enough looks natural, long story short she listens to all your concerns and no doubt she won't do anything u don't want, thinking of going a bit bigger now since they too natural lol

I was very nervous about getting surgery for the issue I was having. After meeting Dr. Keagle and Amelia, her medical assistant, I felt confident that I was in competent hands. I was given lots of good information about what my surgery would entail, what was expected of me and what the doctor expected of herself.

Dr. Keagle and Amelia are rockstars! They go above and beyond for their clientele. I had sent an email expecting an answer the following day....instead Dr. Keagle replied around 8pm. At 17 I had a surgery that caused a massive scar up my stomach, then 2 pregnancies later...ugh. No matter what I did, I always had a stomach. It was a lifelong dream to get this fixed, and after 3 years of training/working out, I decided to do it. I researched plastic surgeons pretty thoroughly. Jennifer is a long term family friend of mine. She was still working at UCLA's Cleft Palate Fellowship program before she started her own practice. I'm currently turning 27 and have been in and out of hospitals for various surgeries both reconstructive and general. Jennifer is different from any doctor I've ever worked with. I completed my abdominoplasty 2 months ago and its the best decision I ever made. More amazingly is that I found Dr. Keagle simply through researching google/yelp . As a mother of two little boys it was refreshing to have a female perspective on my body and the surgery needed to correct the excess skin from my tummy and the torn abdominal muscle from having those two boys. I wanted to get something subtle done on my face (fillers) and fix my double chin, and knew I wanted to see a PS and not a dermatologist. I also knew that I wanted to see a female PS on the east-side. In this day and age, there's hardly ANY female PS in all of LA, and all my friends were referring me to male doctors on the west-side/BH. So I literally took a chance on YELP and after doing a lot of research on Dr Keagle, I just thought she was the right doctor for me.
First of all, her work is really, really natural. For me, she put in some filler on my marionette lines

My husband was in a horrible motorcycle accident and was transported to a local Hospital. He sustained numerous injuries including a severe laceration to his lip that stretched all the way to the bottom of his nose and was completely wide open resembling a cleft palette. The trauma doctor immediately notified the on call plastic surgeon. Dr Keagle responded and immediately went to work on his face. Be warned, do not go to Dr Keagle. An extremely condescending attitude when being asked detailed information about my procedure. Very unprofessional and such a shame because her staff was very respectful. They almost seemed embarrassed to deal with her. There are people that think because they have a degree they can belittle others and this is definitely her approach. She treats people poorly and always wants to have the last word. (Humble is key)
