My name is Chantelle Pasychny and my husband Kurtis and I created designHouse with a few things in mind. A sustainable approach to providing hair services on Vancouver Island and to build a house that everyone felt welcome in. It was important to me that my staff were proud to call dH home and that our guests felt it was somewhere that they felt heard, appreciated and beautiful!
We are a full service salon offering colouring, cutting, extensions, mens hair replacement, relaxing, smoothing and styling. There are different levels of stylists therefor the pricing will vary depending on who you see. We highly recommend coming in for a complimentary consultation for a customized hair plan and pricing.
Your appointments are very important to us, and are reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes scheduled adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully ask for at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling or cancellations. All appointments are confirmed via e-mail or text reminder from the salon, as we know how easy it is to forget an appointment that you booked months ago.
Chantelle is our main Extensionist. Having over 15 years experience in the extension world has allowed her to perfect her craft with some of the best methods out there. We also have a team of Extensionistas with experience that can help you discover what method is the best for you. We use high quality hair that we can stand behind and ensure you will fall in love with it!
Hi, my name is Chantelle and I have been a stylist for almost 20 years now. I have always been quite interested in hair loss and barbering. So when I found Hairskeen for men I immediately learned all that I could about this fascinating solution! I have been lucky enough to use my husband as a client and we have tried many different systems.

For years my stylist was the owner Chantelle and I could never imagine letting anyone else touch my hair for the rest of my life! When the time came for her to recommend another stylist at her salon, I was nervous. She let me know she specifically thought Rachelle and I would be a good fit and WOW!
I loved meeting with Rachelle. And she did one heck of a job! After 6 weeks, I swear I am still thankful everytime I wash my hair and get ready for work. It looks beautiful and is easy to manage. She took off nearly half, but my hair doesn't look short. It looks awesome!!
