Every childcare provider is unique, and at Small Wonders our providers are not only unique but also share a love for children. As professionals we look after young children in the absence of parents and guardians. Our main role as a childcare professional is to ensure the children under our care play, learn, and interact in a safe and healthy environment.

Small Wonders combination of a play-based curriculum with a standard curriculum such as Gee Whiz allows the children's interest to guide the curriculum. Allowing creativity for the team and the children learn and have fun at the same time. Small Wonders encourages both parent involvement and family engagement.
Services
Small Wonders In-Home childcare cares for children ranging in ages of 12 weeks to 5 years of age. Our childcare is located in Norristown, Montgomery County. Its entrance is in the rear of our home, and we utilize our fully finished basement for childcare services. Upon entering the childcare area, you will find that we graciously care for 12 children and are licensed by the Office of Child Development and Learning (OCDEL).
Small Wonders is by far the best in-home childcare provider my family has ever had! The curriculum is great and really engages the children not only educational but with real life experiences. This is my family's 2nd time using Small wonders as my oldest who is now 15 yrs. This is the absolute best place to send your child for daycare.
Gee Whiz Curriculum for Family Child Care enhances the developmental growth of children from infant to school-age. We have chosen to use the Gee Whiz Curriculum for its daily activities written for our mixed-age group setting. Aligned with NAFCC Quality Standards of Developmental Learning Activities and most Quality Rating Improvement Standards (QRIS).
The job of a toddler is to talk, and the job of a preschooler is to learn to communicate. From learning the sounds that make up words to figuring out what works on a page mean, this is an important phase of a child's life. And we want to use the most leisure time of the year to encourage the love of stories.
What is more fun than going to the Circus, Camping, Beach/Sea, and visiting a Garden Oasis. That is where the children of Small Wonders will be going this Summer during our themed weeks. Your child's themed weeks will touch language development, math, sensory exploration, motor skills, alphabet, art, Cooking and so much more.
