Kim has been working in dentistry since 1983. She has experience as a chair-side assistant for both the general and pediatric dentists, and continues to use her business skills at our front desk. Kim's goal at each patient's visit is to make them feel comfortable and at ease while laughing and talking with them.
Your smile is often the first thing a person notices about you, so what can you do to protect such an important asset? General dentistry provides the first line of defense against oral health problems. The dentist is the primary care provider for patients of all ages and maintains the ability to prevent, diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions.
What do you do when you wake up and right before you go to bed? If you said brush your teeth, then that's great! Brushing and flossing twice a day is essential in maintaining your oral health. However, you do also need to visit your dentist for a dental cleaning at least twice a year. Visiting your dentist twice a year isn't just for fun.

I’ve been going to Dr. Horchos for over 12 years, and appreciate his clear explanations about what I need with each visit. I’m pretty terrified of dental work after a horrible experience over 20 years ago, and Dr. Horchos always makes me comfortable (and even laugh a lot) at each visit. I fully recommend him and his staff!

They go above and beyond to provide excellent care. Everyone at this practice is kind and professional. The office is lovely and spotless. When I broke a front tooth, Dr. Horchos went the extra mile to make time and attend to it immediately. You can tell they really love what they do and it actually makes going to the dentist a enjoyable experience. I will never go anywhere else!

I have had a dental phobia since childhood because of PTSD. Chestnut Dentals staff is amazingly empathetic, compassionate, gentle, knowledgeable, friendly and makes me feel so comfortable. Dr. Horchus is a brilliant dentist who is also interested in your entire health history and how that affects your oral health. I have an autoimmune disease and this has been very helpful. He also has the best laugh and smile. Dana is my hygienist and she is the best hygienist that I have ever had. She always listens to my concerns and is knowledgeable and skillful. She is also very approachable, kind and funny

I have been looking for a family dentist to fit our needs for a long time and I finally found one! Dr. Horchos is great! He did work on my sons teeth and he personally called me that night to make sure he was ok, and had the office call me the next morning as well. Everyone at the office is friendly, the office is clean and they are following proper protocols. Highly recommend!
