We selected Stegner after interviewing 6 property management companies. The interview and initial dealings were with Jim Stegner, and then Silas assumed responsibility for our account. We could not be more pleased with the quality and timeliness of their answers to our questions and requests. We especially appreciate the fact that Jim and Silas bring things to our attention that they think they we need to know about, but don't know to ask. Finally, the way they deal with our tenants is really good and is done in a way that we think minimizes problems, and enhances tenant retention.

We had a property "handled" by Stegner Property for about 10 years. Most of this time we were out of state. Jim is a great salesman and a very nice guy, just doesn't seem to be very hands on anymore. The company is supposed to take pictures at move in and move out, then charge the tenants for damage. Every time we pointed out new damage, they said they couldn't prove it was that tenant.. Over the past 10 years, we had several major hail storms, from which our roof was pretty much destroyed, never heard a word about any of them. We had our last tenants actually drill new holes through the house

I can't speak for leasing through them, but I have them bookmarked as one of the property management companies in the area and I'm beginning to regret putting my time and energy into possibly renting through them. I had a house tour scheduled for tomorrow, and I called at ten this morning to confirm since no one had reached out to me to do so (the only confirmation I got was when I scheduled the tour, an email from the website they list/schedule through, not even from Stegner.) 45 minutes later I got a text that my tour had been canceled because the property was no longer available. A root grew in front of our drain and caused our basement to flood. Stegner property management gave us misinformation and told us it was clean water and it would just have to dry out. We were then told after 2 days without water and living in our rooms that it was actually wastewater, which is terrible for your health and disgusting, that they were ripping up our carpet completely. Myself and another tenant have our bedrooms in the basement which are now contaminated and unlivable. Emily said it will be up to 2 more weeks before our bedrooms will be re carpeted yet they are providing no alternative

I have been dealing with Stegner Property Management for about 10 years with the 3 rental properties that I own. They have provided fantastic service, are very good at keeping all of my properties rented and providing good reliable tenants. It's nice to have a manager that actually works for me , instead of just waiting for their monthly commission. They are fair, honest, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The Stegner team has been awesome. They were recommended to me by a friend who also has some rental property. I had just inherited mine & don't like being a landlord! I called Stegner & all of the employees are GREAT. I have worked with all of the employees but mostly with Mateo & Emily who let me know if there are any problems with my house that need taken care of. My most recent experience this winter has been with Emily!! She called me to let me know the furnace motor had stopped working & renters were thinking they had to go to a hotel with their kids & they were worried about the pipes inside

Stegner Property has been managing my rental for about six months. I’m so grateful they were able to get new renters and handle the change over in the middle of the pandemic. Horrible! I don't have enough time nor energy to list out all of the ways these people caused me undue hours/days/weeks of stress and headaches when I had hired them to make my life easier and manage my rental property. One hand does not know what the other is doing. Communication is nonexistent to extremely poor between each other and their clients. If anything complex arises beyond just signing leases and collecting rent payments, forget about it! They can not handle it. Then, instead of taking responsibility, there are always excuses upon excuses and ultimately the blame is put on the client

I've been very interested in a property of theirs - i've emailed, and called 3 times now within the past week and a half. i have not received one single response back, nor do they ever answer in the first place. very, very unprofessional and disappointing because i was very hopeful for this property. thanks for nothing, i guess.

the owner answered and he was so nice and kind
He send me the paper because I live out of town
I couldn't resist to go in person and immediately
I signed.
In less that 3 weeks he rented my property.

My rental house has had Stegner Property Management for about a year and a half and they have been awesome! They are quick to respond on maintenance requests and very kind and polite to deal with. I recently had a cornice board over a sliding door fall off. They communicated well with me and the owners to get it fixed quickly and at my convenience. I would absolutely recommend them to a property owner or for a renter.

The house I lived in was decent at best. The management on the other hand is awful. Poor communication and lack of effort are a few ways to start reviewing them as a company. Getting a response for a maintenance request was difficult in itself. On 3 occasions I had small demo done in two bathrooms and a bedroom. Nothing was cleaned up once demo was complete. Drywall particulate covered our rooms and was caked on mirrors- difficult to clean on our own and we were held responsible for the mess they created. Had a leaking shower for two weeks before it was tended to. I'm not talking about a leaky

Jim has been managing my home as a rental property since 2010 and I couldn't be happier with his service. His team has always been quick to respond to my requests and those of my tenant's. I've never gone a day without it being rented in all that time. I've also always had excellent tenants.

My husband I were looking for a house in the country which is pretty hard to find so when we found it with this rental agency we were pretty excited. I called Jim after getting confirmed that our pup wasn't a pitbull (yes they highly discriminate on the appearance, even a mix) to see if I could give him an application and/or a deposit before we could view the property because we really can't wait to get out if the city and we know how rare the property was.
