My family member was in this home for 6 months about a year and 1/2 ago and it was an awful experience. The caregivers live in the house never leave the home until their 6 month rotation is over. All the caregivers are from Jamaica. During my mother’s short stay at the home she was taken to an ER via ambulance for passing out . The ER doctor final diagnosis was OVER medication. The owner even said they like to take care of quiet dementia patients. I regret selecting this assisted living home. Words cannot express how incredible this company is. They offer a level of personalized care that you just can't find anywhere else. They utilize qualified professionals that cater to a relatively small number of residents which enables them to spend more time with each resident compared to a larger facility. Their houses are truly "homes." They do not feel like facilities. They are beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. My Dad has been with ALOS for three and a half years. He loves his care givers, meals and his room is spacious and beautiful. He receives excellent care and views the staff as family. Donna and Ileana take the time to talk with my Dad daily and interact with him to make sure he’s happy and gets everything he needs. I live 1600 miles away and having Dad at ALOS has given me so much piece of mind. Ileana is always available via phone to answer all my questions and she keeps me updated on my Dad’s health and mental well being.

My father has been in the facility for 18 months and the care is outstanding. The nursing staff has made adjustments daily to accommodate the changes in my dad's abilities. My dad and his clothes are always clean, his room and bed linens are clean and he is treated with respect.
Donna and Ileana are always available, easy to talk with and quick to address any concerns or issues.
My sister and I visit daily and are greeted with smiles each time. The whole facility is neat, clean and smells pleasant. I have no worries about my father's care at Assisted Living of Scottsdale.

My mom is 98 years old and has been living at ALOS for over five years. She has gone from needing little more than a cane for support to having zero mobility. The staff and caregivers have evolved with her changing needs in a professional, informed and compassionate fashion. My Mom is consistently clean, her clothes are clean, her suite is always neat with fresh linens on her bed. The facility is modern, commodious and always clean and fresh smelling. My mom came to Assisted Living of Scottsdale over 2 1/2 years ago. When she first arrived, back in April 2017 she was very frail from surgery and did not rebound from her surgery at her previous assisted living residence. Since April of 2017 mom has consistently gotten stronger, healthier and happier since coming to Assisted Living of Scottsdale. The facility is always very clean and well kept.
