I've recently moved to the area and took my girl to another vet for shots. My girl is VERY AFRAID of people especially men. They just took her from me and dragged her into the back to exam her and give her her shots. It was upsetting that they wouldn't at least pick her up and carry her(she's 35 pounds) so I wasn't impressed with the way they ran things. Then my daughter to get boy to get fixed and he was so scared he wouldn't leave the kennel and barked at the vet tech every time she tried to get him out. She ended up reporting him to the county as being aggressive although he never once tried

Our dog had sustained injuries to her head. We thought it would heal up by itself, but the wound kept growing. The vet at Mar Animal Hospital spent at least 20 minutes cleaning the wound giving her medication and sending us home with 10 days of antibiotics. This was a vet, not a vet assistant. Our total bill for the visit was $95. Mar Animal Hospital isn't trying to take you to the cleaners because you love your pet. It was a blessing to find Mar Animal Hospital

My first visit here was to have a wellness check for a kitten I adopted from the shelter. Doctor was gentle with her, soft spoken, and thorough. Our visit happened to be on shot clinic today so a large flow of dogs and their people made for a noisy wait. As soon as a room was available, we were taken there to get into a quiet space. I gratefully recommend this Vet,

I took my dog here a couple months ago for the first time and I had a weird first impression of the staff the blonde lady at the front desk was very nice. There was a vet tech there who looked fairly young she was the one who gave me very weird vibes and did not acknowledge any questions I had. Seemed very unprofessional when talking about pricing. I felt judged like she didn’t think I could afford the prices. Not sure if that makes sense… but anyway that was the least of my worries. When the doctor came in he seemed ok. Dr Jowandha and his staff have provided loving and quality care for our 19 month old Cavalier King Charles puppy.
Recently, our pup had an injury to her leg. The doctor spent almost a full hour to examine her and deduce the problem. We were astounded at the level of attention that our little girl received. After all this, we were charged the normal (low) rate for an office visit.
I highly recommend MAR Animal Hospital!

Vet didn't even attempt to examine my dog, I got a second opinion, and they went above and beyond. I went to this vet because I felt it was an emergency and my usual vet couldn't get me in for a week. I basically paid $90 just for him to look at my dog, didn't attempt to pick her up, tried to give me medications she did not need. When I asked if it was the end of her time he was more attentive, I tried to tell them about her breathing and he then goes to tell me it's panting. Well I understand I'm not a vet but I know what panting is. My second opinion told me her lungs

I took my dog here for her shots cuz petco only gave her a yearly boosters plus he only gave her a yr rabies shot. I had the paper saying she needed a booster but the vet there couldn't find it even after I showed him. He wouldn't even offer the first rabies shot! Well he did the booster except the rabies and it cost me almost 100 dollars. And he was supposed to be the cheapest vet in the neighborhood. Petco only cost me 33

We took our dog to this that and the doctor would not let us get a word in and made diagnosis/ suggestions of things that she may have without testing anything. He would barely let us speak and was quick to jump to conclusions. I was very unsatisfied with the service and left to a different vet to get a second opinion. We explained our concerns and he told us they were no worries, our second opinion told us, after running various tests, that she has cancer. This place is a joke.

I brought my puppy in for a check up and shots and the front office girls Bree and Amanda I believe was her name , the technician were both Fantastic , informative and very sweet to our puppy. My wife and I were so happy we brought our Cat , Fester , in for a wound he got and Doctor was very kind and gentle. So we brought our other pups Thank you so much for Everything guys!! We love you!!

Had a great experience with the staff and doctor. My baby needed surgery and not only did they get him in the same day for an exam I was able to have the surgery done the next day in a Saturday. I was very worried about anesthesia as he is 11 years old but they did all pre op tests and X-ray to make sure he was ok. I waited the whole time and the ladies were super sweet letting me know each step of the way if Teddy was stable. Even got a follow up call to see how he was doing after surgery. Thanks again

My son and I were so impressed with the vetrinary's and staff's knowledge, professionalism, and compassion when we had to put our 14-and-a-half-year-old angel pound puppy Honey to sleep that we brought our new senior pound puppy Lucky to them after Lucky contracted kennel cough.
Lucky was feeling much better the day after he went to Mar Animal Hospital. The facility is very clean, the veterinary and staff are very caring and professional, and their prices are reasonable.

Worst service I have ever gotten, My appointment was at 10:30 and they didn't take me back till 11:30. My dog was insanely sick and I also had a two-year-old with me. Dr. barely addressed my dog and was more concerned about what my last name was. I waited in the room for about 45 minutes and still was told nothing. Got kicked out of my room and put back in the lobby, and was getting dirty looks from the receptionist because my son was losing it because we were there for so long. Doctor took one look at our cat, and told us to go to an urgent care. I asked where the nearest one was and he said "there's one in murrieta." He gave no more information, and didn't offer the 'hospital stay' services they had advertised in the waiting room (not that we would have left our poor kitty there at all).
The assistant, however was nice and treated our cat well.
We will not be going back here.
