Dr. Amanda Echeverria always knew she wanted to be in the medical field. Coming from a family of dentists, she knew she could help people achieve a higher state of health through dentistry, so she began her dental education at the University of Costa Rica. After earning her license to practice dentistry in 1998, Dr. Echeverria practiced there for two years before moving to Houston in 2000 to pursue a specialized education in periodontics.

I have been a patient at P+E dental for many years. P+E is not close to my home but well worth the drive. The care I receive at P +E is unmatched. The office is very clean. The staff is very professional. Huang is my dental hygienist. She is very professional and does a great job. Very detail oriented and goes above and beyond. Dr. Echeverria is awesome. I absolutely love P + E Dental and it's the only dental office that I can feel at ease when visiting. Dr. Amanda Echeverria and Dr. Fabian Paluk have been my dentist for many years. They are very caring and knowledgeable in creating and maintaining a beautiful and healthy smile. They have helped me with many issues concerning my teeth over the years including a few cracked teeth from hard candy. I'm so grateful for them, their staff and their advanced technology in office. What amazing services!!! They were very professional. I felt so comfortable with them because they explained the whole process as we went along. Very knowledgeable. The office is well kept with a nice view to boot. The very first dentist office to measure my gums during the assessment process and they gave me sunglasses to shield my eyes from their lights during the cleaning. I didn't know I could be that relax at a dentist office!!

This is an extremely professional and knowledgeable group. I trust them with my teeth as well as my children’s. They did a fantastic job on my son when he chipped his front tooth. With the work that Dr. E did, I can’t even tell that 1/2 of his front tooth was gone! My hygienist is friendly and does fantastic work when cleaning my teeth. I highly recommend this group.

At P+E I always get the most professional treatment when it comes to my oral health. I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be brought in to have my teeth worked on. The staff are always very friendly and educate you thoroughly on your oral health! I do travel far just to have dental work done there but it is well worth it.

Temped at this Galleria office earlier this year as a hygienist. Was contracted one hour lunch but the schedule did not have any lunch break scheduled for me. I only took 30 minutes and they did not pay me for the other 30 minutes. They will work your butt off then not pay you for the time you worked. If someone worked the time, you need to pay them. This was not free labor.
Do not recommend going to a dentist when they over book the hygienist and expects you to complete quality cleanings in 30 minutes. Full mouth deep cleaning in 1 hour without any local anesthesia..yikes.

The staff is super nice and friendly here and Dr. Echeverria makes going to the dentist not quite as dreadful as normal! . As someone with sensitive gums, it's so helpful to go to a dentist that has the knowledge and skill to take care of regular checkups and any needed treatments in the same place!

I had a great experience here. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews because my experience was the exact opposite.
-they did not pressure me into a deep clean (in fact they told me that a previous dentist's diagnosis for this was unnecessary)
-they used 6 mo old x-rays from another dentists office
-they were very up-front about costs before any procedures
-All the staff was professional and kind, and I thought the young woman at the front desk was above-and-beyond hospitable
-Dr. Echeverria was very knowledgeable and fixed a tooth that has been getting food stuck for 8 years
-they did not pressure me into a deep clean (in fact they told me that a previous dentist's diagnosis for this was unnecessary)

This place is very professional and clean. I haven't had bad service, but I did have an issue that they wanted to do x-rays every 6 months. I had to sign a waiver to skip it my second time visiting. That was a very unsettling feeling with me because I have been to numerous dentists and I knew immediately this was just to charge the insurance more than necessary. I've never been to a dentist that did it more than once a year. It didn't really keep me from wanting to go until I read other reviews this morning from people who actually ended up having these type of issues where

This was the best visit to the dentist I've ever had... and it's not just because I didn't have any cavities. My dental hygienist was incredibly thorough with the cleaning, but also very gentle. She was really informative as well. I also really liked my x-ray tech and the doctor, doctor Paluk. You get a super cute goody bag at the end of your first visit.

Great place for dental work! Very clean and the staff are very accommodating. Love Drs Paluk & Echevarria. They always try their best to work everything out. They take the time to explain everything thats going on. They truly care about their patients. Just make sure to bring a jacket, the place is always freezing cold.

Time Spent in Waiting Room: Minimal, less than 5 minutes each visit.
Appointment: Started off with x-rays and then cleaning. On my last cleaning, I was in a rush to make a meeting and let the hygienist know. She did a thorough job and got me out with time to spare. I have seen both dentist at this office and they were more than happy to answer all of my questions.
The Office Itself: This office is located in a high rise building

My insurance told me they are now further investigating the prices P+E Dental is charging their patients. The case is now pending review with the insurance company, and my insurance advocates have told me they are suspicious of how they are billing insurance patients, along with how much. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
ORIGNAL:
It's all good... until you need something important done that costs money. Then they'll keep it. And your insurance's too. If they actually file the claim properly.
