I loved the energy of this building. The rooms were very spacious and the staff was so sweet and helpful. There was always someone to answer any questions that I had. Would definitely recommend for student or Ann Arbor living. The location is great.

I've taken tours of other high rises, and Varsity management has been the best so far. Staff is friendly without being pushy, and the building is obviously well taken care of.

The Varsity is a great apartment complex for any students looking for housing in Ann Arbor. The apartments are very spacious and well maintained. All of my neighbors were friendly and respectful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The very few maintenance requests I had were taken care of quickly and without causing a hassle.

Before I moved to The Varsity in Ann Arbor, I was greeted by the CA's at the front office. The leasing manager took me on a tour and showed me around. Made me feel like home. They talked pricing with me and with all the amenities and how close it is downtown to everything, it is reasonably priced! Ever since moving in, I have had no issues. All the staff has been wonderful and really responsive to emails if I have any other questions. Would live here forever if I could!

The location and space are very nice. The move in process could have been done better. There is not much light in the rooms so bring a floor lamp. Many of the lights in our apartment went out in the first few days of arriving. The staff are so friendly!

Don't lease here! Raising rent and charging utilities now in the middle of a pandemic with people out of work. Nice.

If you are interested in a high rise building, I HIGHLY recommend considering any other high rise. The management here is terrible. When I met with the leasing manager, she never even put a mask on, a blatant public health violation. When the management has worn masks, they exclusively wear the masks below their nose. Additionally, the apartment has had chronic issues, one of which being that we are living directly under the gym and our apartment literally shakes from the sound of people dropping weights below us. Additionally, the apartment clearly had not been fumigated and the air vents were

Horrible management. Didn't let my roommate move in because his flight from Europe landed after office hours. Completely did not care that he wouldn't have anywhere to stay for the night, despite their being staff there who could've gotten him his keys. Students are absolutely rude and no one shows any empathy. Sticklers on rules that make no sense. My sink has been broken all year and they refuse to fix it. My window cracked from heat expansion and cold contraction, they blamed me for breaking it and said I would be completely responsible for paying its repair. It's grown to

Living at Varsity for the past year has been a wonderful experience. My floor was particularly quiet and peaceful, and I never had any problems with my neighbors regarding noise or trash in the hallways. The amenities provided are certainly convenient, and the occasional apartment events are a welcome sight after a long day out. Maintenance wise, the staff are extremely quick to respond to requests, and deal with emergencies immediately. I will definitely be living here again next year.

The air conditioner has been not working for two weeks and it's 80 degree in the apartment. I sent several maintenance requirements and nobody comes to fix it.
The faculty is unbelievably rude. My friend dropped my book at the front desk and I went to pick it up. The faculty didn't even let me finished my words and told me there was no book for me. When I was about to reply her, she went back to her office without a stop.
Nice apartment with awful management. What a pity.

Paper thin walls. Neighbor's alarm clock wakes me up every day and goes off incessantly when they leave town. When they sleep they constantly roll into the wall which is really annoying. Varsity falls way short of it's premium price.

I admit my experience with the management was tainted as they require personnel with "special training" to let me move in after hours: All I did was sign a piece of paper in the office & the keys were handed to me.. It was extremely annoying that despite the involvement of the Ann Arbor Housing Dept ot was still not possible to move in after hours. I ended up staying at a hotel until 8am when they start work.
I asked management if the apartment will be cleaned as I read some reviews that it was dirty on move in day. I think they should fire the cleaner. It looked like it's never
