I've lived here 4 yrs now. The have updated the apts when someone moves out. They look very nice now but they are at least $200 more I personally don't think it's worth it. Rent has gone up $300 in the last 4 yrs., but if you do some price comparing they are in line with other complexes. If you have a dog or 2 this is a VERY dog friendly place with a nice dog park.

I lived at the Charlton apartments for a year and it was a great experience overall. The neighborhood was nice, grocery shopping was very convenient (Kroger 5 min away), and whenever we had an issue maintenance was very quick. Communication with the leasing office was helpful and friendly. There was central ac and all of the appliances worked well. The only issue was heating, which was pretty inconsistent. We had the corner apartment with wall length windows, so the bedrooms got pretty cold in the winter compared to the living room. Having coin-operated rather than app-based laundry was a little

It’s a decent place to live and was one of the cheaper places I found in that area when I moved in shortly before they began remodeling, my main concern with this place is that staff has entered my apartment several times with out notifying me. They’re supposed to give 24 hours notice. So on my day off I’m just sitting on my couch drinking coffee at 10 am and some maintence guy comes into my apartment to apparently check my fire alarms. They gave us notice saying they would need to enter To do that weeks earlier. So I emailed them asking the staff to make sure I get accurate notice in the

I've lived in the Charlton Apartments for a year and have overall been satisfied by the experience. Quiet neighbors, quiet street, and clean building. The apartments are on the older side, but every time I've had a maintenance issue, management has dealt with it quickly. The office staff has been nothing but professional and friendly. And the price is very reasonable for the area.

I've been with Charlton for 5 years now and I really like the location. Close to M-14 and I-94 as well as restaurants, shopping, etc. The apartments are roomy and not too bad noise wise. The rent is starting to get on the high side but it's still cheaper than most apartments in Ann Arbor.
