Services
Since 2001, Plum Tree Yoga continues to grow an amazing community of teachers and students. Nestled in charming historic Roswell, the studio offers a beautiful environment for yoga, quiet meditation, rejuvenation and personal growth. Our intention is to bring teachings of movement, stillness and healing all under one roof with grace and compassion.
Regardless of your age, health, size, shape or fitness level, there is a class for you! Each and every pose can be modified or deepened based on what your body needs on that specific day. If you have specific injuries or limitations, be sure to share that information with your teacher prior to class - they can help you move through the postures comfortably and safely.
At Plum Tree Yoga we don't rely just on our rich history but rather, we pride ourselves in partnering with some of the area's most experienced and talented yoga instructors. All of our teachers are certified through Yoga Alliance and maintain their certifications through ongoing education. And while each teacher, has their own style and background you will find that each teaches from their heart.
Explore a variety of poses as you focus on alignment, breath, balance, strength & flexibility. Each class includes connected pose sequences as well as slower deepening poses to open your body, mind, breath & more. An initial centering mediation and final relaxation are included in each class. Modifications and options will be given to students new to yoga as well as more experienced practitioners.
There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self. Private yoga lessons at Plum Tree Yoga with our skilled teachers are ideal for beginners who are interested in gaining a fundamental understanding of yoga postures and alignment principles.

If you are recovering from an injury or perhaps returning to yoga after some time, the one on one instruction provided in private sessions will help give you with the tools you need to come back to the practice in a safe way that specifically meets your individual needs.

Critical: Professionalism
I had a very poor experience at this place three years ago. The insane young man told me to get out of the shop in between classes. He called me a wimpy Yogi!! For saying the Tea cup was a little to hot!! I can see they delete all of the bad reviews!!

This has been my yoga home for more than 3 years. Full disclaimer: I teach here! But I can honestly say that everyone I bring here remarks on the energy, professionalism and competency of the studio. The owner, Terri, is second to none. She's worked hard to create an authentic place that feel nurturing and comfortable. There are several senior level teachers on staff, and the offerings range from gentle classes, to full blown posture workshops. Really cute area with lots of fun places to eat or grab coffee afterwards. Highly recommend! Beats the socks of the commercial and sterile studios

Love this studio! My only wish is that classes in the evening begin at 7 pm rather thank 6 pm. With Atlanta traffic it is hard to get there by that time after work.

Been going here a couple days and so far it's been an amazing couple days! I feel so energized and revitalized after visiting this studio and I'm excited about all the different classes they have to offer. The space is limited in the morning howver the energy is very positive and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. Thanks for helping me get my yogi on!

I'm brand new to yoga and this studio is the greatest. It's tranquil space, quiet and clean. It is just such a warm and welcoming environment. I get a great vibe from just being there.
I have had classes from Teri, Carla and Alison, they are just fabulous instructors. They knew I was new at yoga, were very patient and understanding with me & give so much encouragement and pointers. i used to be a teacher, so I know what a good teacher is like.
I just get a tremendously good vibe from everyone there, I had been meaning to try yoga a nbr of times since I walk by the studio everyday

Great yoga studio! Their teachers are knowledgable and classes are well-sequenced. The staff is always happy to see me and make me feel welcome even though I'm traveling from out of town. I wish they offered more early morning classes, but I'll take what I can get. The studio is bright, large, sunny, and well-equipped with props and mats. The all-levels and intermediate classes are great because the teachers are sure to suggest the higher-level poses if they are in your practice. My mom has taken beginner classes here and really likes them. Great studio!

Plum Tree Yoga was recommended by my personal trainer. At 67 years, active but with some orthopedic problems, I was reluctant to try yoga. But the instructors have been very supportive and have suggested modifications for my orthopedic issues. After 7 months I've experienced a positive change in function, flexibility, and general overall feeling.
Plum Tree offers such a variety of classes at different levels and at different times of the day/evening. Some of the classes require special yoga props but all of these are provided. The facility itself is quite pleasant and fees are very reasonable

I just recently found Plum Tree Yoga in historic Roswell! It's a wonderful yoga studio in a great location!

Terri and Carla are always at the front to greet people as they enter the studio. They are both so friendly and welcoming! After just one visit I was greeted by name every time after that!

They have about 10 different teachers although I have not had a chance to take classes with all of them. But two of my favorites are Betsy and BeAnne. They have two completely different styles of teaching but both are fun and challenging!

The studio is very clean and has natural light from the

This is a great yoga studio. Terri who is the owner and a teacher is such a kind, caring person who runs a great studio. It is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was introduced to Svaroopa yoga here and definitely became a fan. I have also taken Hatha with Kim and she is a great teacher as well. They are welcoming to people of all levels and abilities so don't feel intimidated if it is your first time taking yoga. I've taken class with men & women in their 60's to high school boys who were taking Hatha as an addition to the training regimen.

I started taking prenatal yoga with Susan Wells about 3 months ago. Susan is a great teacher and the class is a nice balance between strengthening, balance, and relaxation poses. At 8 weeks pregnant, the class seemed too easy because I was used to a more challenging practice, but at 24 weeks, I love the gentleness of it.

The studio is small, quiet space in historic Roswell. I look forward to going there each week.
