Services
The Moody-Daniel Funeral Home is independent and locally-owned by the Moody Family and has been serving families since 1982. Currently, owned and operated by Terrell and Sherri Moody and Tim Daniel, the firm was founded by Terrell's parents, Charles and Betty Moody. In the spring of 1981, the Moody family purchased 12 acres of land on Highway 19 North of Zebulon.
We understand that making the many decisions which come at a time of loss can be difficult. We offer our support by providing you with two options as you consider making immediate arrangements. With online Arrangements, you can take your time to select the arrangements which are best for your preferences and budget.
Staff members of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Terrell graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1980.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

Moody Daniel Funeral Home has done many of my family members services and burials. Recently, though, I was the one having to plan out a funeral and working directly with Moody. Sherri made everything so easy. I really appreciate her during this difficult time. She works hard for you and they genuinely care. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I had the most Godly experience ever in my entire life - I spoke with Sherri over the phone and I felt something so special within her,
