I found yoga (or I should say yoga found me), after a chronic spinal/neck injury. Once I took my first heated Power Vinyasa Yoga class, I was hooked! Previously, the chiropractor visits were necessary and many, then after establishing a regular yoga practice, I said good-bye to my chiropractor. I completed my 200-hour certification for Ashtanga-based Vinyasa in 2011 and my 500-hour certification for Hatha Yoga in 2013.
Join Laurie for weekly vinyasa yoga classes at Jump Twist Ninja Academy in BOCA RATON, on Saturdays from 2:45-4:00pm. Join Laurie for weekly deep stretching and relaxation at Jump Twist Ninja Academy in BOCA RATON, FL on Wednesdays from 5:45-7pm. Sisterhood Members meet monthly for yoga, spiritual and philosophical discussions, meditation and to share the supportive synergy that love creates.
The idea for this retreat was just a baby thought, but after an overwhelming response I knew I needed to do this. I created a group experience that would've helped me when I lost my husband. I vow to give the very best advice and assistance with grief and healing within a positive and sunny atmosphere.

Love it! Andre is my favorite instructor, he speaks slowly with a amazing challenging class. Don't like instructors that speaks laud and non stop! Yoga class it is supposed to be relaxing with a calm voice making the class enjoyable and challenging at the same time.Otherwise you end up more stress at the end. Namaste👏💕🌻

It smelled like cigarette smoke from the moment that I walked in the door. I thought maybe it would go away in the studio. It didnt. Hot Yoga helps breathing and peaceful but is not when there is a cigarette smoke smell. Additionally, they played Led Zeppelin, which is also not peaceful. On their behalf, it was not what I expected in a regular hot yoga class because I picked the wrong. This one was focusing on core and used baby weights. I will also say though that many of the core movements that are supposed to be good for abs are not good for your neck and shoulders.

I LOVE Laurie and her Yoga Aura studio. All of the instructors are super knowledgeable and kind- I can pretty much guarantee you'll leave any of the classes feeling like you've had an excellent practice. The studio is a great, clean space. At the moment there's one large heated room but the non-heated space is due to open this spring.
Laurie offers a flexible teacher training program for students looking to deepen their practice but can't commit to a 2-week intensive program. Classes are held one weekend a month and you're required to complete 9 weekends. Teacher training

It's been some time since I've done any practicing in yoga and since I've moved south, It hasn't been easy to get back up to boca to my places I once frequently visited, including this gem of a studio !
I was the first to review this place back in 2014 and I can't tell you how much charm this studio has. My girlfriend had wanted to do a yoga class and I recommended this place as always and made a point to book a class with her to make it up to boca for Laurie's 9a vinyasa flow class.

I practice hot vinyasa about 1x per wk in NYC and when I travel I like to check out other studios. I visited Aura today and took Laurie's hot power class. I thought the class was incredible and the room was definitely hot, maybe 100 degrees. The flow had a quick but deliberate pace and we did quite a few strength and balancing poses that were very challenging. She also incorporated a few Bikram poses which is something I've always looked for but never got in vinyasa. So that was very cool. Laurie also did the practice with us, something I'm not used to, but having an expert yogi

Yoga Aura is the best studio in town. I went to the other studios and thought that I didn't like yoga. I realized it was the other studios that I didn't care for. Just read the reviews and you'll see. Yoga Aura really is the best and is the cleanest studio around. They really make sure that everything is clean all the time. I usually rent a mat and a yoga towel so that I don't slip. Go to Yoga Aura and see for yourself!

Yoga Aura is a great hidden gem on North Federal.
Their facilities are wonderful.
Their floor is a recycled rubber material that I've never seen at any other studios, and it is the perfect surface to conduct your practice. It feels like an extension of your mat, but is still firm enough to not compromise your balancing postures.
They have multiple shower rooms that are always spotless and they provide bath towels. This was a great surprise my first visit, as I was expecting to just get back in the car all sweaty from class and then realized they provided towels and a clean shower.
