Born and raised in the Swannanoa Valley, Melinda is grateful to work in the community she grew up in. Before relocating her office to Swannanoa in 2017, Melinda counseled individuals and families as an intern and Contract-Counselor at Biltmore Church in Arden, NC. She earned her Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Montreat College.
I will be happy to go over the information on the forms in our first meeting together. Also, if you are filing insurance, please find out your co-payment and if a deductible is to be met in order to be aware of your financial responsibility of therapy. This information can usually be found by calling the phone number on the back of your insurance card and asking about benefits.
