We provide families safe and effective Christian attachment therapy and trauma recovery derived from a systemic perspective involving assessment and interventions in the spiritual, emotional, and relational realms. The family is considered an integral part of the treatment team and all decisions about treatment take into account their needs, opinions and most of all, safety.
Our treatment is never coercive. The goal of treatment is to facilitate positive relationship changes in the individuals and family. The Beatitude House philosophy of treatment is anchored in the knowledge, belief and experience that our Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of healing and truth and that we are His instruments.

Services
We offer intensive treatment for adoptive families that have children who have been diagnosed with: Reactive Attachment Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Op-positional Defiant Disorder, behavior and attention problems and Developmental Trauma. Our two week intensive provides healing for children AND parents so that an environment can be created in the home that promotes respect and attachment.
ATTACHMENT TREATMENT AND TRAUMA RECOVERY is typically offered at Beatitude House in a two week long intensive format. Half of the 10 days are full days and half just go from 9-12 approximately. The momentum and continuity which can be built by meeting this way are significant. Too often the gains from a 45 minute therapy session are soon lost to and absorbed by busy life.
The 3-5 day adult trauma recovery intensive involves healing in the painful places we are stuck in. Journey of the Heart invites a relational connection to heal, not a cognitive analysis leading to an answer. As we validate our wounded heart parts with compassion instead of dismissal, suppression or outright self-hatred transformation occurs.
The Central Nervous System (the brain) consists of the spinal cord and medulla, pons, mid-cerebrum or midbrain region, corpus callosum and the cortex, each building one level on top of the other. This developmental sequence begins in utero and lasts to about age 6 for girls and 8 for boys. After birth, a white fatty substance called myelin is present in the medulla.
When Beatitude House was in its planning phase we had many share with us why we should become a 501c3 charitable organization. So people can help others by contributing, not only with their prayers, but with their financial and in-kind donations. We set up a scholarship fund just for that reason. You can now earmark it for certain individuals or families so they can get the specified help they need.
