I first fell in love with photography at a young age, using my hot pink 110 film camera as the medium with which I captured the world around me. I spent hours with that camera in hand, using all of my allowance to purchase film and pay for developing. I am not sure that I captured anything worthy of saving from that camera, as evidenced by the lack of photos from that time in my life!
I was familiar with Joy Lyn Photography long before our son Stratton was born. Joy did an incredible job of photographing both our engagement and our wedding, but it was our newborn session that I'd been dreaming of since first seeing her work. Joy's newborn pictures speak for themselves-they are sweet, innocent, adorable, and heartwarming-but it's what happens on the other side of the lens that sets Joy apart from other newborn photographers.
