Bethalto Animal Clinic was started in 1976 by Don and Kay Buller. Since opening, it has been a family affair with aunts, uncles, brothers & sisters helping to make the dream come true.
At first, the clinic serviced mostly farm animals - dairy & beef cattle along with horses. Over the years farms have been replaced by homes and pets have moved from the barn to the bed. In 1991 the Bethalto Animal clinic focused only on the medicine and surgery of dogs and cats. However, things changed in 2001 when Dr. Dan started working in the clinic after graduating vet school.

I have never been so disgusted with a service before in my entire life.
My husband and I visited the facility on January 6th and had an appointment for 4:40. We showed up at our appointment and it was the worst experience of my entire life. The staff in general was okay. I do not blame the receptionist and I thought the first tech was polite. After that, everything went downhill.
We contacted Bethalto Animal Clinic simply to get our yearly exam and get my Dog’s vaccines up to date, was we recently moved from Jacksonville, Florida to the Bethalto area.
