Wish I Could give 0 stars. I was almost homeless because of these people. Around April 2021 I started looking for housing here in Bloomington as I was moving from out of town to attend IU. I Applied here around April 16th heard back from them couple days later saying I was accepted. Sent me links to pay my deposit and set up my move in date. My move date was scheduled for May 7th. Come that week of May I get a call saying they can't send me a lease to sign because I was accepted by accident and I won't be able to move in. They also were unable to return my deposit till the next month. I had to

I wouldn’t even give it one star!!!
So far:
Electrical issues out the waaaazoooo!
BUGS!!! A never ending cycle of bugs!
No my “wall/floor/old hotel” air conditioner is giving me codes that’s it’s now broken!!
Sewer and water issues
Laundry/Bluetooth app hacking
On and on it goes
PLUS if you want totally robbed then start renting here!!!

Did not live here due to a few red flags with their policies. Chiefly that they wanted a non-refundable 300 move in fee to put me on a waitlist. I really hope no one else fell for that foolishness. Between that and all the other reviews I would look elsewhere.

Don’t live in these apartments, you will regret it! Everything is outdated and has problems. Management will quote you one price when signing a lease but later they add hidden fees to charge you way more. In addition, management lies about the model apartment they show you, and instead they give you a trashy apartment. Avoid at all costs.

Had a really bad experience, especially with the management. They never get back with you and screen your calls. I had to call from a different number in order for them to answer. We were contacted by a collection agency due to the fact that the management refused to send us our final bill even though we requested it numerous times. Although these apartments are in a convenient location, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Living at Cedargate has been a very pleasant experience. Management is always accommodating and ready to help. The location is perfect. Close to shopping and dining.
