Ryan the maintenance worker is a 5 star man. He gets the job done every single time. Whether it's changing my blinds or fixing my smoke alarm, this guy gets it. I'm glad this guy is on our team.

I lived for a year in the 10th and college building owned and managed by Cedarview. My experience with them was very detrimental. The building is old and elevators are slow as hell. The halls are always dirty. They have permanent carpets on the floor and they never clean them so they get to smell really bad during the year. The place is noisy and it always smells like food. There is a Mexican restaurant in the first floor and I could always listen to their reggaeton and smell of the food.
When I first moved I sent them pictures of things that were damaged in the place for them to fix and also make

The hardest working management company serving Indiana University students!
The staff at Tenth & College, lead by superb manager Suzanne OConnell, is excellent as they are always helpful and friendly. The professional maintenance and management team are committed to serve and provide you with an outstanding living experience. Staff member Lorraine Stoops is extremely dependable and personable. They are attentive and answer quickly to maintenance calls.

Please keep up the great work and best of luck in the future!

Let me start by saying I would give the staff at the Cedarview/10th and College office a 3/5 and PJ would get a 5/5. She is super helpful. The rest are nice whenever I go in or email them. i do have issues with my lease signing process initially that I elaborate on below.

The 2/5 is mostly for the actual quality for the apartment and the prices you pay/them keeping my money:

1. Price: The prices here are high - I live in a one bedroom apartment at the Horizons building that went up in August 2012. I was the first person in my apartment. Aesthetically, they are pretty nice. But compared to say

Why are the bad reviews filtered? Interesting...and very, very telling considering the management has the option of controlling this page. That tells you everything you even need to know, but read on...

Do not live here. Management is HORRENDOUS and the noise is horrid, absolutely horrid. I believe her name was Susan, the leasing manager. White hair and a face like a gargoyle. She's truly the devil incarnate. She's the rudest woman I have ever met.

Appliances are TERRIBLE. Mandatory fees are ridiculous. A fee for the pool AND the fitness center? The fitness center is basically a closet

(this is the same reviews that I just posted for the Cedarview Management page. They manage this building)

I have to say I don't agree with these bad reviews AT ALL!

A little background about me: late twenties, graduate student (MBA), looking for a clean and quiet apartment.

I lived in the Tenth & College building apartments (601 N. College Ave) for exactly 2 years and I have had a wonderful experience. I have graduated already, but I would have gladly renewed my lease if I needed to stay longer.

I had a very difficult time finding a place to live in Bloomington, as most places I visited

I'm in my final month of living at Tenth & College after two fantastic years.

First and foremost is the truly outstanding management and maintenance team that makes life very easy. They are super friendly, very efficient at working through issues, and they keep to a schedule. Emails, texts, phone calls, whatever your communication preference is, they match to your needs and find the best channels (in a non-invasive way might I add) to communicate with you. Whether it's fulfilling a maintenance request, or hand delivering a package to your door, they are courteous and professional

Tenth & College apartments appear to be nice facilities but the HORRENDOUS management has led me to write this review as a WARNING to potential residents considering renting with Cedarview management.

1) While touring the apartment and signing the lease we were misinformed about which direction our apartment would face (it turned out to be facing smokey apartment balconies instead of the street), the cost of the gym (it was an additional $150 per person, which they failed to include in the listed $700 a month fee and didn't mention to us--even after we'd asked--until we were halfway
