Broad Ripple Computer Repair LLC has been providing technology services to residential and business customers in Indianapolis since 2009. We offer drop off (by appointment), on site, or remote access repair services for Apple and Windows computers (as well as a wide range of other electronic devices).
What differentiates us from other local computer repair centers is our free diagnostic (some exclusions apply) and flat rate schedule for most repairs. An hourly labor rate is charged for onsite services, however for drop off and remote work we charge a flat fee depending on the problem. You will find that our rates are very reasonable; if you have any questions (advice is always free!) or would like a repair quote please call or email us.

Services
Broad Ripple Computer Repair, LLC was formed in 2009 by Andrew Dietz. After graduating from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Andrew realized that there was a shortage of cost effective, professional computer repair services in the Indianapolis area.
After listening to family and friends express their dissatisfaction at the high price and/or inadequate service they had received from existing companies, Andrew decided to begin offering comprehensive technology services at reasonable rates.

We offer a free diagnostic (some exclusions apply) if you drop off the computer at our Broad Ripple location. We are very familar with all the popular email systems and programs (Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Apps/Gmail, Outlook, Outlook Express/Windows Mail, Apple Mail, iCloud, Entourage etc.)

Andy is amazing at what he does. He can fix almost anything we throw at him. His knowledge, efficiency, fair prices, and caring attitude are why we will not go anywhere else. He has helped streamline the way we do business, and is always there when we need him. I wouldn't recommend anyone or anywhere else!

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
First off, this guy is amazing. I've now had three experiences where I have needed instant assistance with computer issues. Each time I have called, been helped, and had my problem solved almost immediately. This is the kind of efficient professionalism that is almost impossible to find. 12/10 would recommend.

I'm a graduate student who currently does all of my work and school from home due to the pandemic. When my laptop suddenly stopped charging, I was very panicked. Andy was kind enough to see me immediately, and found a way to fix my laptop very quickly-- I had it back working great just 24 hours later. Thank you!

If you are like me thinking do I want to spend the money to get my computer fixed or just buy a new one...Take my advise, Andy is an absolute gentlemen at the trade and fixed my MacBook pro in less then 24 hours. It was moving so slow to the point it would even turn off most of the time. Andy knows his stuff and is very honest and fixed my computer and replaced parts for $220.00. My MacBook Pro work just as it did when it came out of the box. Seriously this is the place to go to get your PC running like new again. THANK YOU ANDY!!!

I went here about two months ago to get a new cooling fan and my charger port fixed, which was $140 for what he described as a "5 minute job". After picking it up the first time, I received the same error message regarding the fan which was why I took it in in the first place. After taking it back and having him take a look at it, I got it again and it wouldn't even turn on. After taking it back yet again he "fixes" it, saying it was the case of my laptop rubbing up against the motherboard that caused the problem. After getting it back it was working for about an hour before randomly turning off

We've used Andy/Broad Ripple Computer Repair for years and he ALWAYS responds quickly and let's us know when he's available. He's repaired, downloaded software, removed malware & viruses, and recommended and provided a new laptop when I needed it quickly. He is very dependable, has reasonably prices and is willing to work on my PC remotely to identify its problems.

Poor attention to detail and care on my macbook pro machine. Did an ok job replacing a failed SSD and setting it back up, but, broke my track pad in the process. I was in a hurry and accepted the machine back because I needed to work on a project and the track pad worked at first glance, but it is nonetheless broken. When I asked them to get the replacement part and to include that as no labor upcharge when I tried to roll it into a retina screen update - he played ignorant of there being an issue. Really disappointing as I do my best to support small businesses, but was taken care of more like

He's great. Yes, he conducts his business from his home, but as soon as you step inside you can tell he takes this very seriously. He stands behind all his work with a repair warranty so if he "fixes it" and it still doesn't work then he will repair it again at no cost to you.
He can sometimes be a little slow to respond to emails regarding a current or potential job, but I imagine that's due to how super busy he is all the time. He generally follows up with profuse apologies if you send a follow up email.
I had him fix a charging issue with my laptop and it was $120 without any new equipment
