I’ve had two positive experiences with Marinelli Jewels in the past six months. The first time was for an appraisal of an engagement ring for insurance. I called ahead to make an appointment. They were efficient and within 10-15 minutes handed me the printed appraisal. The second time we went there was today to replace a watch battery. As soon as we entered the store a friendly employee offered service. Without an appointment they replaced the battery and in less than 5 minutes we were done. BEWARE!!! Went in with my friend so she could sell gold. I had been in before to purchase pandora charms and had a good experience so told her about them. First they had the wrong prices for gold listed it was well below spot price at the time. I asked why and she said it hadn’t been updated even though the date was correct! Then they weighed up the pieces and offered HALF of what my friend was offered at another jeweler! She explained that so they upped the price $200! Still well below what the other store offered.

Wonderful experience. My engagement ring was purchased elsewhere and I brought it to Rich at Marinelli for an appraisal for insurance purposes. He was nothing but helpful and everyone was extremely friendly. I don’t know much about fancy jewlery so I also asked him to tell me his opinion of the prongs which were set at the place of purchase without telling him my specific concerns. He was respectful in his commentary about whoever set it, but pointed out the same things I had noticed. Finally, I didn’t feel crazy. Recently, after being long time customers of Rich at Marinelli Jewelers, my wife and I shared with him a newspaper clipping of Local Notices of people in non payment on their real property taxes. A local, beloved Pastor was listed as being in arrears on his home taxes.

I met with the owner to get rid of jewelry I no wore anymore and he was very warm, nice and welcoming when I met with him. The store is very nicely set up and as soon as you walk in you are greeted and the staff is very nice. I will definitely shop here in the future and recommend this store to anyone looking to selling gold/items they dont want/need and to purchase new stuff.
