Dr. Lawton grew up in the Midwest and Upstate New York but went back to his family's roots in Maine for his college years. He attended Bates College and graduated in 1975 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He then went on to Boston, and graduated magna cum laude at the top of his class with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1979.

I decided to come into the office because I was having sleep issues. I was not feeling rested after full nights of sleep and this caused a lot of complications in daily life. A few simple sleep tests were done and the doctor found that my airway was possibly collapsing in my sleep. I was given a sleep appliance to try out and see if my sleep improved. All I can say is wow! The appliance was life changing and I found myself feeling rested and ready for the day each and every morning. I highly recommend Dr. Josh Manchester and his professional team for their excellent work.

NW for Prosthodontics has a great team. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment. They are very caring, compassionate, and patient with a desire to make their patients happy with their results.
I decided to look at permanent implant options for my lower denture (tired of using paste to hold them in), and a new upper denture. Dr. Lawton did an amazing job creating natural looking dentures. Excellent upper denture fit and the lower implant, Wow! Life changing! I'm sure their expertise in the field is what made the whole implant process

The quality of care available at NW Center is beyond remarkable! When I first came there, the dentist that referred me said “if anyone can salvage the damage to your mouth, it’s Roger Lawton!” Previous inept dentistry had damaged my mouth and teeth, and Dr Lawton designed and created a plan and process to restore my mouth, and my smile.
He and the entire team worked in concert to make it happen! Everyone in the office is caring, competent, supportive and helpful, and they work beautifully together. My routine care is always done in a timely manner, and the hygienists are gentle
