As a new client of Republic Animal Hospital in Republic, you can expect our full attention to your pet's needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room to check in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
Emergencies, accidents, and illnesses are unfortunate facts of life, but how many of us plan for the unthinkable before it happens? What would you do if your pet were suddenly sick or injured? Do you have a plan? Do you know where to go for help if your pet needed critical care or had to be hospitalized?
If travel, thunder, or fireworks upset your pet, he or she may benefit from tranquilization or sedation. While sedated, the animal will stay awake or sleep lightly but can be roused when stimulated. To minimize any potential risk associated with tranquilization or sedation, we need to assess each animal individually before we dispense these medications.

I have been taking my puppy here since I first got her in June of 2020, they always go above and beyond. They do their best to to see her and even squeeze her in between already scheduled appointments if its urgent. Yesterday is truly what made me want to right this review. Daisy had an incident where she had eaten a clothing article and had to go to the emergency clinic, Dr.Fergason called the emergency clinic and personally talked to the doctor that was seeing Daisy even though their office had been closed for about an hour and a half! Love them so much and so worth it. They truly care for your

I want to start by saying I always got along with The staff and the Dr at this animal hospital. I never doubted the medical care of this clinic. I feel my little guy Rocky received good medical care.
Prior to Rocky passing he had a second seizure which he never recovered from and I called to ask my vet if she would talk to me over the phone regarding issue and I was told she would not speak to me over the phone without me paying her for her time. In my opinion that was not very professional sense my dog was on deaths door.
We had just seen the Dr the day before he had a seizure so I didn’t

I was visiting from out of state, and my regular vet was far out of reach. My dog suddenly got very sick very quickly, and I called 6 clinics in town that did not have the availability to see a new client within about 2 weeks. Rebublic Animal Hospital made the effort to squeeze us in the same day I called! They gave her a thorough exam, actively listened to her history and behavior, and we walked out with medicine and care for an affordable price. Two weeks later, my dog showed signs of being sick again, and I was headed back home in a couple of days. Once again, RAH got us in same day that morning
