Services
You may have heard the term "Fear Free" when it comes to veterinary care, but not known where it came from. Dr. Marty Becker developed this initiative in order to take the "pet" out of "petrified" and make animals feel welcome and safe at their general veterinary practitioners with special attention to removing anxiety triggers and putting in their place gentle and considerate control techniques.

Not only the veterinarians (through a series of circumstances I believe my dog has seen all 3 now, though Dr. Beatty is "our" vet), but also the whole team of techs and staff are friendly, calm and professional. Their "Fear Free" approach makes all the difference for my dog! They noted her "triggers" and have avoided them, examining and treating her without any forcible restraint, which helps her anxiety tremendously. I didn't get to go inside due to covide restrictions. But from the staff over the phone to how they handled my situation with an abandoned cat I found was pretty amazing. They seem to truly care about animals. I literally called 3 other vets as I made a list from Google reviews since I'm new in town. The first three offices I spoke with wanted nothing to do with this situation all though I was perfectly willing to pay. Was literally told no by three vets. My 16 year old border collie mix needed an ultrasound and I was referred to Healing Paws. They were pleasant and professional. I felt like my pet was in very good hands and that they were concerned about her. They answered my questions. I would recommend them highly. If I needed a different vet they would be my top pick.

My cat was poisoned and I was terrified that I was gonna lose him so I brought him here last minute, they got me in as soon as they could. Literally ALL the staff are so friendly and confident in what they do which is very very reassuring. They’ve all went above & beyond to try to stabilize my cat ozzy and I can’t ever thank them enough for their efforts. 10/10 recommend bringing your fur babies here, they care & they make sure you know it.

The physicians, techs and staff at Healing Paws are incredible! They selflessly provide exceptional, personalized service.
My precious dog was hospitalized for an extended period. Everyone affiliated with the clinic went above and beyond to care for both of us. I had great peace of mind knowing my dog’s physical and emotional needs were met. As a matter of fact, I was concerned he would miss everyone there when he was discharged!
Thank you, Healing Paws, for loving my fur baby (almost) as much as I do. He is happily home with me because of your loving care.

First time to Healing Paws Vet Clinic and I must say it was the most relaxed and calming vet visit I or my pets have ever experienced. They were extremely friendly not only to us but our pets. They talked calmly to them, offered them snacks, stroked them and made them feel as relaxed as they possibly could. The clinic smelled clean and was visible clean. I highly recommend them especially if your pet hates going to the vet. Thank you Healing Paws.

Every time i take my babies to Healing Paws clinic I am a little more amazed, by their kindness and compassion. They always put my babies first. Even when my Lily got was called to doggie heaven they were sure to explain everything to me and assure me that it was nothing that I did or could have prevented. I needed to hear that more than they know.… today my cat got all her shots and had a reaction and they did not hesitate for me to bring her in and make sure that she was fine. Willie was a dear, loved member of our family. When his health was failing him ..... we needed help as soon as possible. They got us right in a saw to Willie’s health. His heart was failing as well as other organs. They were so very sweet to him and helped my wife enormously when the tough decision had to be made. We were blown away with the care and compassion on our Benny’s last day. He was provided a meal of food he usually could not eat due to pancreatitis and even though he hadn’t eaten in days he devoured it. We then received a few weeks later a lock of Bennys hair and his paw print in a mold. I was blown away as I had wanted to do this but didn’t get the chance. Thank you for the care and compassion given to us and our beloved Benny in such a difficult time. Healing Paws is a class act!!

Only vet i have used in town and only one i will use. have been extremely helpful with my pup with her pregnancy and with having mastitis after the pregnancy. my first time ever there when my pup got brought 0ut to me my bill had also been taken care of which had to be by an employee because there werent any other customers there at the time. awesome vet.

I’ve had Ginger since I was 18. I’m 31 now and she was about 14. Some pets really stand out and she was one. I gave her the best life I could, a lot of love, some farm time, city life, and in her last days...a… bunch of chicken nuggies when she wanted to eat. I cannot speak anymore highly of the compassionate staff at Healing Paws. I am a nurse at one of the local hospitals and sometimes help patients pass from chronic illness. The patience, compassion, and level of care they provided for Ginger and I on her last day was what I would expect from nursing staff for a loved one

Yesterday, my 10 week old puppy suddenly became listless and had some concerning symptoms. My regular vet wasn't in the office and they worked to get me in. The staff and doctors were fantastic! Great bedside manner, customer service and explained everything. They made sure all of my questions were answered before I left and, honestly, even though… it was an urgent care/emergency visit, I was pleasantly surprised with the bill. Not that it was cheap, but much less than I was expecting. I would recommend them again and again. This morning she was up to her usual antics and you'd never know
