Services
Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment, although we will work in walk-in cases. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Puppy wellness is the preventive care we recommend and do for our puppies (dogs under 1 year of age). Our goal with puppy wellness is very simple: we want to give the puppy the best possible start in life. For puppies between 8 weeks and 6 months of age, we recommend 3 visits at 3 week intervals. Deworming: all puppies should be dewormed for hook and roundworms, even with a negative fecal sample.
Adult wellness care is very simply routine health care for our adult (1-7 years old) dogs. Physical exam ($48): a nose to tail evaluation, covering 12 separate areas. A physical exam is the best method we have of ensuring that our patients are healthy. Additionally, an exam allows early detection of any medical problems.

I will never forget the kindness and compassion Dr. David Weddle and his staff showed my family during one of our hardest times. About 3 months ago when I realized something was wrong with my dog, I called around to many different animal hospitals in the area and I chose Wilson's Creek Animal Hospital because they offered the most affordable services. During these past 3 months, they have been very accommodating and helpful, whether it was frequent phone calls with questions and concerns, or last minute check ups or prescriptions. They always made a way to fit us into their busy schedules. I would

Today I took my cat Daisy to them because I noticed she had chin acne. Ill admit, I have not been up to date on her Annual Exams. Her last visit was 2018. She's our only animal and she's always indoor. When the vet came into the exam room, he proceeded to ask about his mailers. I told him I was receiving them and apologized that I haven't made it in. He said she had fleas. That confused me because we don't know how she got them and have seen no fleas. He sternly said that we were bring them in the house and said this is why annual visits are important. His tech was holding Daisy down and Daisy

I had to recently put my Cat Midna to sleep and the entire staff was completely amazing in helping me through making one of the most difficult decisions of my life. Vets and Doctor's are MVPs because they have to keep everything in when I'm sure they just want to be beside you and hug you while you go through loss. I never got to thank any of you. But if you read this review thank you. It meant the world to me as all of you talked me through what to do. You're all great human beings and I hope you all know that.

My dog was in an abusive home prior to being a part of my family. We told the vet and assistants about this, and about how it has made her a very nervous dog. They seemed annoyed to have to deal with a sensitive dog. They were rough with her and ignored our warnings. My husband was told to sit down and 'Let them handle it".... she would have been fine if my husband would have been able to pet her and distract her. She was flailing around and they made the situation worse. They picked her up by her harness to get her off the table (she's 50lbs). They told us to come back when they could sedate her
