I am a disabled Vet, You sent me away because I didn't have a Safety vest.
Last time you let me and my son borough one. Today you thought it better to reject me instead of help. Your actions were far removed from you customer commitment. Even your voice mail does not mention the need for a safety vest. I am not against this safety rule , But I am more then disappointed in your lack of providing even a small provision of used safety vests. for your customers . I don't think I will return as Loyalty should beget loyalty, Bracken Recycling , Veteran owned I don't think so. A veteran would know better

First time here and it wasn't a bad experience. It's a closer location to me than the normal recycling site I normally go to but didn't want to make the drive so decided to try this place out. Was greeted by a nice young lady and she helped me make recycling aluminum cans a smooth process. Can't say much on the other rates for items collected but do wish the rates were as good as the other place for aluminum cans. However, it was fair enough and had a nice experience.
Also, be sure to have an ID on you just in case and ready to show you're face if you're wearing a mask.

I had been going here often for a while. Even with my info on file, picture of License and all. Decided to not cut a check because I misplaced my license this morning. With my info in there system and a Texas cash recycling card in hand. Won't be taking my business there anymore. Since the other two local recyclers dont need my license anymore. And pay cash on the spot due to recognizing me previously. Actually pay more than Bracken. Word to the wise shop the recycling places before going the service and prices are different. Alot different.

I was given a rate of 7 cents per pound for my metal items. I had a total of 120 pounds which gave me a total of $8.40. I don't know if that's a good rate or not, but at least I didn't have to pay to get rid of my metal items.
The staff were responsive and addressed me as soon as I pulled up. The whole process took about 5 minutes from start to finish which I though was very fast.
Overall, if you're not into scrapping and just want to try to get a buck or two for metal items you're trying to get rid of, this is a good route. If I had known how little I was going to get I would've gone another
