Established in 1994 by Creative Director and Founder Sherese Campbell, Houston City Dance Studio is a nonprofit dance school and performing arts organization that seeks to reflect the ethnic diversity of the Houston Metropolitan area. Dancers learn body movements, begin to develop core strength, coordination, and style while focusing on the fundamentals of the various disciplines of ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, and tap.

The mission of Houston City Dance is to bring the many aspects of the dance experience to the most extensive and diverse population possible, through dance education programs, performing companies, and volunteer opportunities. Houston City Dance seeks to enable those around us to experience dance in all its diversity throughout our lives.
Ballet, hip-hop, jazz, modern, and tap dance classes for children ages 5 to 13 from Houston City Dance in Houston, Texas. Creative Movement (5 -7) Dancers learn abstract movements which use the principals of ballet through imaginative music and games. Dancers in this class will improve flexibility and coordination through fun, age appropriate movement and exercises.
