I don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review for Urban Yoga, I've had a membership from May and love it. In fact, I didn't realize quite how great this studio, classes and instructors truly are until I went on a work trip and visited another studio. I suddenly remembered why I never could commit to one yoga studio and why I could never muster the enthusiasm to return to barre class after more than a few sessions.
Urban Yoga is an unpretentious, welcoming studio. The instructors are helpful and motivating, you never feel like not being able to complete the class

Thank you so much Urban Yoga and the lovely Surya for an amazing Nidra session, I wish that I could have stay and spoken to you longer, you seem like a soul I would like to know more. I have not done nidra since leaving Australia and then they were sporadic as I was most often leading the practice. Also the following class lead by Julia was just what my body needed today. I felt totally accepted and at ease in the studio. If only I lived closer I would totally make this my new 'home', for now I shall just have to settle for visiting when I pass by.
Thank you all for such a lovely space

What a great place. This is yoga done right. Open hearted with many class options. I always get to a new level of peace and happiness after a class. I'm a newbie of about 6 months and I've tried other studios where they just don't have time to help you get in the swing. Not so, at Urban Yoga. It is exercise delivered with kindness and just the right amount of reach for it!

I have been going to classes here for a few months and love it. There are a variety of yoga classes, varying in intensity. All classes have been very good, for all skill levels. The instructors give a variety of options for all levels, allowing each person to decide how intense the workout. I also go to the barre classes, which are great. They are really intense but excellent workouts. Place has a great vibe with a lot of classes at various times. Very convenient. Highly recommend.

I've been going here about 1-1/2 years since retiring from office work. I had neck and back issues when I started but they were cleared up after a few months of classes. I really like that there are classes all day and into the evening. All the teachers are very good and very helpful with adjusting poses to fit your particular body issues. I have found the yin and restorative classes to be very beneficial.

I started doing yoga on weekly bases on my pregnancy (highly recommend to all mamas to be) at Urban Yoga.
The yoga building is located at the medical district right next to a very busy traffic road, it may not be a zen quite yoga place but it's comfortable enough.
The urban yoga has one private studio room which is used for individual yoga classes and the main studio which is for group classes, a bathroom, enough parking on the back, and yoga accessories store.
I have only used the group class studio which is big enough for house comfortably 10 people, it's a hardwood floor, red brick

I've been going to UYS regularly for a few years. The downtown location is perfect for post work workouts. The instructors are engaged and passionate about what they do. I especially enjoy the music intense classes that have a modern soundtrack to really get you going. The studios and locker rooms are clean and well kept. There are great workshops and special classes going on all the time. A really great place to practice!

I stumbled upon this place in error and I am so thankful that I did! I am from out of state and I was desperately looking for a yoga studio to continue my practice while away from home. As soon as I walked into Urban Yoga Studio I felt so welcomed and calm. Very comforting atmosphere for anyone looking to really enjoy their practice whether you live in town or just visiting as I was.

I love Urban Yoga Spa. The instructors are fantastic-- they are friendly, approachable, and eager to help you make the most out of your practice. They all have their unique styles as well, which makes it fun to shop a bunch of different classes. The spa is excellent too; it's not your high-end luxurious hotel spa, but the quality of care is incredibly high. They really focus on function. I love Urban Yoga Spa and would recommend it to anyone living or working around downtown Seattle!

I have been practicing yoga at Urban Yoga Spa since 2009 and it has changed my life. The owners, instructors, and staff are all super friendly and welcoming as well as the fellow yogis, the classes are consistently challenging and evolving, and there is an amazing sense of community that is felt there. The studio space is calming, clean, and has an urban feel, it is unlike any other hot yoga studio I have been to. In addition they often offer deals on yoga packages and have several workshops and challenges throughout the year. They also always have amazing music in class and are always open to

Urban Yoga is the best hot yoga studio in downtown Seattle. The facility is nice, open and clean. For the most part, the room is kept very hot during the class which is something I always look for. The instructors are knowledgeable and good teachers. Ever better, they offer multiple classes at all times of the day which makes for a very convenient practice. Highly recommended.

I love this yoga studio. The classes and trainers are great, the facilities are sleak and clean and minimalist. They know me by name and I love that they offer community classes multiple times a week. The only complaint I would have is that there have been a few classes where it was just too hot. Other than that, if you like hot yoga with challenging classes and classmates that push you to your extremes this is the place to go!

I've been practicing for about 7 years now. UYS has the best group of students- mostly more advanced so you don't waste your time while the instructor gives details on how to do a downward dog.
Probably the most beautiful yoga studio I've been to- and the main room is pretty unbelievable.
My only complaint is in relation to 2 female instructors that were teaching noon classes as of a month ago. Definitely stood out as terrible.
Otherwise, this place is amazing. If you work downtown, you should be going here.

I've been practicing yoga off and on for over 20 years. When my husband and I moved to Ft.Worth I started my search for the right studio. Urban Yoga is the best place I've EVER been to. What a wonderful atmosphere and the instructors are top notch. They truly do understand that yoga is mind, body & spirit. I am so happy to have found my new yoga home.

Love this place! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable! I have only ever taken Nia classes there..very hard to come by in the area and they have amazing instructors. I've had several knee surgeries that have kept me away for some time and I cannot wait to get back! I will say with all honesty I've tried yoga & such at other studios in town & I was never welcomed as I was at Urban Yoga; and as an obese woman, trying to find a place to do any type of workout where you feel comfortable is extremely difficult. I have been to many yoga studios in the area and this is definitely one of the best. The facility is beautiful and the staff are welcoming. They have a great class schedule and instructors. I really enjoy the Hour of Power classes and they vary based on the instructor. The smaller room is a bit chilly for me, so I tend to avoid those classes if I can, but it may be right for other people.

This is a great well-rounded studio featuring a variety of Yoga styles, Nia Dance classes, and Barre classes. I've found it to be a friendly, inviting place with a good sense of community. They've got Anusara yoga, Prana Flow (Shiva Rae's flowing style of yoga), and numerous Therapeutic Yoga classes. These classes use conventional yoga props like blocks and straps and blankets, but also unconventional items like tennis balls in socks, and various sized balls for address pressure points and wring out tight muscles. The Nia classes are wonderful and very hard to come by and they have

Looking for a cool place to throw down your mat and say a few Oms? Urban Yoga just might be your getaway! I love this studio for many reason... 1- brick walls and very cool ceiling tiles. Atmosphere is important as you are looking at the walls or ceiling for many breaths at a time! 2- Instructors are very diverse and very passionate about what they do. I've never felt out of place or like a beginner in any of my classes. 3- There are many different styles of yoga and healing services provided. There is a little something for everyone.

I will never go to another yoga studio in Fort Worth other than Urban Yoga!! I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere and instructors. They are extremely nice and helpful. I haven't had one instructor who wasn't welcoming or friendly!! The classes are typically small and intimate, which I love. I feel like I get a much more pleasant experience at Urban Yoga than I have had at any other studio in FW.
One thing I really love about Urban is that the instructors are not afraid to touch you and correct your posture or pose. They are very knowledgeable, and I feel I can reach my full potential in

I LOOOOOOVE Urban Yoga! I first went to check out the Nia classes (see www.nianow.com if you don't know what Nia is). I got a great introductory special of $39 for unlimited classes for a month and took full advantage of it by trying their yoga and barre classes too. I love the variety of classes and the instructors are really sweet. Brook is the owner of the studio and she is extremely welcoming and genuine. She brings a smile to my face every time I see her. Urban Yoga has become my second home in Fort Worth!

Urban Yoga is an incredible Yoga studio. It's not conventional (my first and only class had a "water based theme"), but I don't think I've sweat and relaxed so much in Yoga. The staff seems really knowledgeable (even correcting your moves) and is super nice. Plus, the Friday afternoon Yoga class is a donation class to a local charity.
