Excellent high quality flowers and John was super easy to work with! Texting is the best method to reach out but he is also on Instagram @flowersbyyip so be sure to check out his extra photos there. I had an amazing experience with John, but nothing new there as you can see from his other reviews. I contacted John for a last minute birthday bouquet for my wife's 40th birthday; last minute because I'm a terrible husband. Anyway, despite being a holiday weekend and a Sunday, John was eager to help and I am forever grateful. Adding to the complication, it was during a wonderful Bay Area heatwave where we were expecting 110 degree temperatures. What an opportunity for success, right?

After being separated from Sandy, the love of my life, for over four months in CV lockdown I needed to find a way to show her how much she still means to me. I phoned Flowers By Yip based on Yelp reviews for florists in the area and I could tell from our conversation that John is a man who cares deeply about flowers and the people whose lives he brightens with his flowers. We discussed mostly what I wanted to say with the flowers but, other than insisting the bouquet must contain red roses I left the arrangement and presentation up to John.

My sisters asked Fred and John to make a flower arch for my bridal shower. They provided them with 2 photos and Fred and John made my dreams COME TO LIFE. It looked exactly like in the photos my sisters sent them. John and Fred anticipated it would be a hot day, so they opted to use amazingly real-life looking flowers so that they would withstand the heat of the day. They looked fresh all day long.

I honestly don't even know where to start! I wanted to do something a little more special for my birthday gathering this year, and I thought it would be such a cute idea to wear a flower crown and provide simple crowns for my guests.

I found John through yelp and needed a last minute floral arrangement for my graduation dinner in December. He replied within a few hours. I was on a budget but John worked with what I could afford at the time & came up with adorable and classy centerpieces. The guy knows his craft. He asked about the color of the table linen, how many guests per table, what location, etc. He also delivered the arrangements to the venue. So professional and gave me more than what I asked for.

We live out of state, so all of our communication was via email and John's response time is excellent. Based on our requested flowers and color combination, John was able to make great centerpieces with manzanita branches and a wedding arch.
