A lot of the Uber and Lyft drivers do not have insurance that covers them as a commercial driver. In my experience, Uber delays and fights taking the appropriate responsibility for their drivers. Uber tries to say that they are not employees, so they have no coverage. Until I sued Uber. It is probably not uncommon that a Uber or Lyft driver will provide their personal insurance when they are working and get into an accident.
Under Oregon law, bicyclists are required to follow the same traffic laws as auto drivers. Bicyclists deserve the same protections provided to motorists by those laws. One of the top hazards an urban bicyclist has to contend with is having a car turn right in front of the bicyclist's direction of travel.

I had a personal injury case in 2016 that a different attorney screwed up. I had a back fusion and needed a hip replacement. Things were not looking very good till Mr Colbach got involved. He settled my case for policy limits within a few months. His staff is very professional, He is truthful and attentive. He always replied to any questions I had. Mike and I have worked together referring business for years so when I got into a serious accident, I knew I had the case won.
