This place checks all the boxes! Knowledgeable and fun instructors offering a variety of Salsa and Bachata classes for all levels, from beginners to advanced to performing teams. A beautiful brand new facility with great AC and plenty of space to keep everyone cool while dancing. Oscar and ThalÃa are always going the extra mile to provide their students with quality instruction in a fun and positive atmosphere where we learn while also make friends. Definitely check them out if you're looking to begin or improve your dancing!

I love Salrica! Since I began taking classes at the beginning of this year I've learned so much and I can definitely see the improvement in my dancing. I recommend this dance studio to any dance enthusiasts regardless of their skill level. Oscar and Thalia are so talented and patient with their students.

This is a great new studio! If you're looking for a place to learn salsa or bachata they have awesome instructors. It's a friendly environment and whether you're a beginner or a seasoned dancer they've got classes for you. Plus, don't miss the monthly dance socials to show off all the moves you've learned!

This studio is OK but they are way overpriced. They just increased their prices to $85 for 5 classes. ($17/class!!). This is a ripoff and definitely not worth it. There are many studios just as good or better with lower prices. I know studios that charge $50/mo. for 8 classes. In addition, all these studios host socials.

I saw on line that Tom Fitzpatrick was teaching ballroom here. He taught me to ballroom dance many years ago and is the best teacher ever! If you get the chance to take a class from him I strongly recommend it - knowledgeable, clear teaching and super nice. It is in big part through his great teaching and encouragement that I became a ballroom teacher myself. :)

I went to their salsa social last night and it was super fun! I had some talented gentlemen dance with me. I got to dance with instructor Troy Anthony and that was loads of fun! I have been dancing most of my life but not always with a partner. There's an adjustment period, but it's like riding a bike. The place was clean, friendly staff, and good parking. There was a cop strategically placed in the parking lot so that was a bonus.

Salsa for beginners with Jonathan gets full 5 stars but I did not give full stars for service levels by other staff and front desk representative at the studio. They have a sign outside that states first class free for first time members then they sing a different tune when you enter the facility. This is false advertisement in my book. The front desk lady even told me my first class was free but an instructor listening in told me I had to pay.
On to the good part of my experience... Jonathan was amazing, patient and a good dance instructor. The moves were easy and fun. I will be back for his

This is a very good dance studio that teaches a variety of Latin styles. They have several well seasoned instructors that lead you patiently through the steps. It is also one of the few places I have found where you can learn Salsa on 2. Additionally they host a very popular social on the first Saturday of every month. This social is put on by the organizers of the Houston Salsa Congress and is a popular, often crowded, event but is a great way for dancers of all levels to get practice in Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba.

Salrica has small classes, a friendly, fun student community, excellent teachers and is reasonably priced. If you want to learn how to Salsa and connect with a great Salsa community, this is your place. They do a great job of providing individual attention while also challenging the class and moving you through new steps systematically. Can't say enough good things about Salrica. Go check it out!

Beginner Salsa 1 and 2 classes with Nathan Z. are en fuego.
I'm quite the beginner. My background in dance includes maybe three sessions of Jazz which took place about 25 years ago at my elementary school, and four ($10) sessions of hip hop a year ago at another studio. It wasn't until I took classes with Nathan did I feel like I had some dance skill, even at the first session.
In Beginner Salsa you're taught all the basic steps, with combinations, as individuals and partnered up. Instead of going through the motion of dance moves, Nathan teaches you how to do it the right way

One stop studio for absolutely amazing dance instruction. Kizomba, Salsa, Bachata, ChaCha, West Coast Swing.
I came to Salrica initially to learn Salsa, then I found Bachata, before long, I found Kizomba. Now I can walk into a social and if the salsa room is too crowded, I can hold my own in the Bachata room and after that Bachata song, I will remain on the dance floor to continue with Kizomba.
The location is amazing, instructors are awesome, and students are great too. Oh yeah, they let you check out the classes for free on you first visit. Highly recommended.

My second time at this studio for the monthly salsa social. It's small but the floors are nice and smooth, they also try to keep the room a good cool temperature. The socials arent too busy, but definitely fun and great cardio. They allow you to byob, which is kind of neat. The last time they also had a bachata room, cant go wrong with a little diversity. I'll definitely be back. it's a good dancing space.

You can't ask for more from a Latin dance studio!!!
Being in the salsa scene for the past 6 years all around the US, I can testify that the the instructors (primarily Jorjet, Oscar, and Nate) are real professionals and are your path to the salsa scene. They hold great parties at the studio, too. Everyone is respectful and truly love to dance. Here, you will not find the "Latin hotness and spiciness" stereotype as shown in popular TV shows, but only the most musical, authentic, and technical On1 and On2 salsa. They also offer Cumbia, Argentinian Tango and more. I have seen people
