They listed property on Airbnb on 30A with a golf cart. We made a reservation (over 4 months out) and learned the morning after making reservation that the cart was an additional cost. So we canceled less than 24hrs after making reservation. They were only going to refund 50% of deposit. Total rental was going to be $5,200. Deposit was $2,500. After explaining the misleading listing info to them, they said they would just keep $100 cancelation fee and return the rest.

Our family of 5 loved this condo so much! It had a great view (as the name implies) and super convenient to everything. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Hosts were great to work with. Very clean and well appointed. We will be back for sure!

We rented a house through RealJoy in Destin for fall break. The home we rented was said to be "unfit" due to damage 5 days before our vacation. I was sent other options and was lucky to find one that would work for us. Although the home was nicer, it lacked some of the amenities that we had booked at the previous home. I called and switched the homes with no issues. The house was gorgeous, clean and very roomy. We had two families of 10 people. It was not as close to the beach as we'd have liked but not super far either. The neighborhood was really nice and the community pool/gym and play area

We stayed at Seascape, Ariel Dunes II. Great view and well appointed unit. Comfy beds and very clean. Primary bathroom shower is great after a long day at the beach! Walk to beach is manageable, via the boardwalk across the lake. There is an option to park in a small lot just across the street from the beach. The pools were not heated. Decent size workout room. Checkin was contactless and seamless. This is our second time booking with RealJoy and like the first time, it was very easy and convenient.

We stayed at the Moondrifter Condo and we had a great little trip! The room was nice, the view was spectacular and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the nice showers and the fully equipped kitchen. The only thing we ran into was the elevators were shaky and got stuck and bounced up and down on us so it kind of freaked us out. We enjoyed ourselves so much!

We had a great time on our vacation ! The condo was exactly as advertised and very clean as well. The kitchen was was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and most important the view was amazing ! The beach access is also very easy. The only drawback is the parking but honestly it gave us some needed exercise on a relaxing trip !

We had the BEST time in our vacation rental from realjoy! The location was absolutely perfect. The check in was easy and contact free. The house was perfect for our family. The kitchen was fully stocked and ready to cook in. The living room was comfy and clean. The balcony was my favorite spot! The beach was what we came for and it did not disappoint. We had at least 1/2 mile of beautiful sugar sand to ourselves!! We can’t wait to come back next year!!

Realjoy vacation rentals......call them "Real joke and no joy"!! I booked a unit for May of 2020. Obviously could not go due to travel restrictions and Governor Desantis. NO REFUNDS! People are out of jobs and need food etc. Nope, they will re book you and that's it. That was only the begining. When I finally did get to take my trip this year...OMG. Awful. I had read somewhere about units not being clean and bedding issues so the first thing I did was to check my bed. One pillow smelled like dirty hair...the other was ok. I wouldn't recommend booking with RealJoy. Our issues started at check in when the condo didn't have a copy of our reservation (despite everything being finalized a month prior and confirming our check in time). The lady at the front desk of the condo was able to handle everything and it wasn't a big deal other than a waste of time.

We have just returned and rented a condo with RealJoy for part of our vacation. We did not require customer service but they were readily available if needed. I texted on the day of check out as to linens and they responded immediately upon the office opening on Saturday. I was very pleased with the rental process with RealJoy and will rent with them in the future.

Never rent from RealJoy properties again!We stayed in Destin in a unit they manage. We had MULTIPLE issues, biggest being sewage stench coming from master bath drain. RJ is very hard to communicate with via portal or phone. Guest bath toilet clogged. By now, the couple we were with just left due to smell and lack of cleaning in the unit, just grossed out (see pics). After finally getting through to someone they sent a "cleaner" out, he had a bucket and cleaned one toilet and bath and master shower(obivously nothing had been cleaned in the entire unit, from our point of view). that

RENTERS BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! Thieves is all I can say! Due to a change in employment I was unable to make the trip...lost all of my deposit. You people could work with customers on arranging a later date or refunded a portion of the deposit back! I'll never EVER look at your over priced rental properties again.

We hope ALL snowbirds stay away from renting from RealJoy Vacation Rentals with their office in Destin. We rented an Okaloosa Island sixth floor condo thru them for Jan 16 thru Feb 15. We knew the only elevator in the bldg was under repair, but RealJoy assured us on January 1st that it would be finished by January 15th. On our trip to FWB (a 2 day drive) we received an email saying the repairs would be delayed, but completed on Jan. 18th. With help from RealJoy getting our belongings up the 92 steps, we thought we could live with three days of stairs. But then, additional promised completion dates

Is Yelp automatically combining two businesses with similar names? The review I left was for real joy vacations on airport rd. with the website at realjoy.com. I don't know for sure but it seems like someone is claiming the business and then changing the yelp profile to avoid bad reviews. This is the second time this has happened and it seems odd that the Yelp profile of a crooked business like Real Joy Vacations keeps changing. I will reach out to Yelp.

Do a little more research than I did and you will see they are screwing over people left and right. They take professional pictures and rent Section 8 quality condos. The pictures are misleading!!!!! We had dried blood on our comforter when we arrived. There was MOLD in the bathroom. Standing water and hair in the bottom of the dishwasher!!! They will not refund your money if you are hosed by the Covid-19 travel ban and the FL Governor's ban on rentals. Bad business practices and you will not be able to contact this company for resolution. They will not reply to email and they will leave you on hold for an hour.

Very Disappointing services! Before the covid-19 crisis I booked a vacation rental paying the deposit without the traveler's insurance and then the pandemic happened and I continously tried to contact them to figure out how to plan for the unseen future and they were not willing to work with me and I asked them plainly if I get charged for the full price for my vacation and dont cancel forfeiting my deposit would I get a refund if the nation was still under crisis and I was forbidden to travel and make my reservations and they said the full price would still be charged to me 30 days prior

Terrible management. Do NOT book there through either their website or on AirBnb. It's basically a scam during this coronavirus pandemic. They will not refund you even though cancellations circumstances are out of renter's control. They are also impossible to get ahold of via phone or email.
